I decided just a few days ago to come to the game this weekend, and about the only hotel I could find was the Courtyard Marriott Acadian ThruWay. No big deal - I typically stay at Marriott properties and could use points so it would be free.

This morning I received the message in italics below, and a few things I've bolded below caught my attention. Is there something I need to know? The email mentions: All extended stay guestrooms will be cleaned after every 6th Night from check-in. Are they housing illegals? A half-way house? Why do they make it a point to say they are "...committed to deliver the Marriott Bonvoy benefits for your membership level?"

Perhaps the most alarming part of the email appears toward the end beginning with "Moments like these..." Is it possible they are housing evacuees from Milton? Of course, that would not be an issue at all compared to housing illegals.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated so I can make alternate arrangements if necessary.

Looks normal to me. May have some leftover Covid language (re: cleanliness) they should probably revise.

But that location is prime, nothing to worry about. Just lock your car doors.

Damn, I’ve never seen a welcome email that long over 1,700 nights.

At least they warned you. I didn’t realize hotels in manhattan were required (at least the Sheraton) to do a room check every two days, and I didn’t put my porn away when I left for work.

those were my thoughts as well. They still have COVID language in there and haven't updated it yet.

This is pretty standard. They don't want to walk into a shite show if you don't have your room cleaned
