He admitted the draft last year caught him by surprise. He realized the mistakes and is planning to correct them. It's nice to have a coach who's adaptable. We were always going to have to go hard in the portal next year anyway for OF and MIF

Jay wants guys to come in and get the leadoff man out. It's been a requirement since he got here. He also has certain guys that he only planned as situational guys to pitch to specific batters.

I'm not a huge fan of changing pitchers early in college bc you end up with someone who's off that night who can unravel a good game. (See UCLA last year) but this is different. None are doing the prerequisite get the first guy out

Yea unfortunately next year we will need the portal. The whole OF is gone and no replacements are being groomed currently. Harden has upside but he's unpolished and doesn't get any playing time. On the IF you only have Braun and Pearson worth keeping. There are no returning MIFs on the current roster who have shown any flashes whatsoever.

Behind the plate you've got the same issue you have now. You gotta hope Serna and Arrambide learn to catch bc no veteran transfer will want to compete with their bats.

On the mound you get your top 2 guys and you hope some of the freshman take a step forward but it won't be enough without some big transfers

I think you're underselling the parallels to Lost. I liked Lost so it's not a bad thing in my opinion. This show is faster paced though. Lost had like 20+ episode seasons.

No one can KNOW. Houston is better today. Haven has more upside. Think Anthony Richardson with all the measurables but just not a great passer. He's obviously extremely young so he has plenty of time to get better. Impossible to say who will have the better career

I think it's been confirmed at this point that Jade and Tabitha are reincarnations of Victor's mom and Christopher that keep returning until they save the children.

The monsters can return to life after killing them. They are immortal due to sacrificing their children. Jade and Tabitha didn't so they are cursed with constantly returning to the town. And I guess town people can give birth to the monsters.

We don't know what those totem pole things are out by the cabin in the woods

Boyd was able to return to the tower with the well by walking to the same place and lighting that torch. He then destroyed the music box even though a vision of his wife warned him not to.

I just started this show and watched the first 3 seasons over the past year. I went back and read the previous threads while I was watching it and it was entertaining to read you talking to yourself :lol: I appreciate the effort to keep the discussion going
