Cortez (Durango), CO with dogs

We’ve booked a VRBO in Cortez for a week in August.
Looking for things we can do with the dogs for a couple of days we are there. (Probably going to hit up Rover for doggie day care on the other days so we can go to a couple of places that doesn’t allow them.)
Anybody got some good ideas on where we can take them with us?

LINK i went here a few years ago. just west of cortez in utah. it is kinda tricky to get to. dogs are allowed and not a lot of traffic.
