In your attempt to try too hard, you missed this. I'm not advocating going to plano, where legacy hall is not Allen, or a restaurant.
There a better spots in deep ellum than a shitty piano bar. It's basically the live music center of the city. You can find anything you like any given night, especially on the weekend.

Dude it was just an option, I gave them 5 or 6 depending on what they wanted to do. I haven't been to Louis Louis in ages, but it's a different deal than a regular bar.

Nah. It's just not a destination. It's a great place to live with plenty to do here, but it's not something to seek out for a vacation or bachelor trip, etc.
Like great lakes said, if I didn't live here, I wouldn't come here. But I do love living here.

It used to be a SUPER CITY for Clubs...
For me it used to be NY and then Dallas in the 70s
...until Mothers Against Drink Drivers starting pressuring all elected officials.
I do not even know if you can open an actual "pure club" anymore except maybe G'reenville Ave or Deep Ellum.

I planned a Bachelor Party for my Cousin in Dallas and we had a great time. See below for places we went and my recommendations on breweries:
Best: Martin House Brewery - Great Beer, the atmosphere is subpar but nice if you don't care about being impressed with a shiny/new brewery. It's in Ft Worth but it's right next to Ft Worth Top Golf so we made a day of it.
Would also recommend: Pentacolas and Four Corners - Nice Atmospheres with good beer.
Worst: Community - Beer was decent but the atmosphere sucked. Its like going to a strip mall brewery.
