Already have tickets and hotel near park. Any recent trips that can assist this humid trip?

It’s end of may. If you can’t deal with the heat, you shouldn’t have scheduled it

Yes, we went in March. We were able to do both parks in a day. Def make sure you have a speed pass. Watch out for the little guys walking along the main roads asking you to pull your mask up. Other than that, have a great time and ride as much as you can as often as you can. We did all of the roller coasters, doctor doom, etc. twice. You will get wet on the water rides, so have a poncho, spare clothes, or wait until the last part of the day to do those if you want to. We stayed at the double tree across the street and just walked to and from the park. Very easy to do. Also, ride the train between universal and islands of adventure. Pretty neat little trip for the kids. Oh, can get ready for all of the harry potter weirdos. It's everywhere and great people watching.

Going at the end of July for a sports camp for my son, but we’re all staying at Cabana Bay or something. Haven’t researched it yet...if you find some cool stuff please post.

Heat is no issue. Its been since 2009 that we last visited and any advise would be appreciated.

Speed Pass is a must. They had waits of more than an hour on just about every ride. Longest wait we had was 20 mins and that was only on ride ride the whole day. Most of our waits were 5-10 mins tops. We would've just stood in lines all day and not gotten to ride everything like we did, and a bunch of them twice, without the speed pass.

They are not filling the rides to capacity which is extending the wait times. You can stand next to complete strangers in line but god forbid you ride next to them.
