Lots of them cannot get enough staff. I know of one out 290 that was literally ready to open for a month before they could get enough staff. Now they are finally open, but not at capacity. I saw a sign at Pluckers a few weeks ago that they are paying $17/hr for staff and one at McDonalds that they are paying $15. If you're in Houston and not working, it's because you don't want to!

I work downtown & many of the restaurants have closed permanently & the space has "for lease" signs in the window.
