I flew on spirit out of NO to Tampa 2 weeks ago. Pleasantly surprised. Least expensive flight by a mile. No delays. No middle seats occupied on almost entire plane.

Outside of delays, I've never had an issue with Spirit. I'm not a needy traveler so it's fine for getting from point A to point B.

Also, their "first class" seats are like $50 extra bucks. Worth it if you need the extra space.
