wouldn’t go to a buffet in that area of town

I mean, I know that sometimes it takes courage just to get out of bed, but geez ...

Carry on is considered food like anything else.

My favorite was all the trips I took back from Guatemala, when half the people on the plane had bought a big box of Pollo Campero at the airport and were bringing the taste of home back to their relatives and friends in the US.

July is the worst month to travel to Italy — then August, June, and early September.

Generally speaking, I would choose to go in October or April (though certainly not Easter week)

Well that's also a team problem. We know Zion cant carry a team and this is probably the worst squad weve had from a defensive standpoint. The fact remains that we're better on offense with him on the court

Yeah, it's also about roster construction. The problem is that Zion needs to be surrounded by shooters, and we're horribly deficient in that department.

Italy is just dirty and crowded and hot in the summer.

No, that's the correct take. It's why I asked: "Are you flexible? Or committed to going in the summer?" If OP is going to go sometime June-Sept, then I would not recommend Spain or Italy.

Zion just isn't that good

I mean, he was that good. At one point, he really was an MVP-caliber player when he was actually on the court. Somehow, he's not nearly as good anymore. Was the weight loss actually a negative? Have the injuries taken a toll on his athleticism? It's hard to say why this has happened.

But yeah, he now at the level of "pretty good player." It certainly doesn't look like he could ever make another all-star game.

Hidden gem for what? For natural beauty of the island? For culture? For diving or snorkeling? What do you want to do?
Yes, and I would add that Willie got a lot more out of Poole than Borrego has.

Poole wasn't nearly this bad at the start of the season under Willie.

This. Are you flexible? Or committed to going in the summer?

It's a very "good" book. By that, I mean that it's about goodness, and it inspires the reader to do good.

I very much enjoyed and appreciated it. It won't win any prizes for literature, and I don't think that the prose is particularly well constructed, so I think that people should know what they are getting into.

But, yes, the book deserves to be read and enjoyed. I will read it again at some point.
C'mon, man. Why are you spamming the board with truly insipid crap?

Hindsight, yeah, much rather have CJ for roughly the same money

Getting Bey and Peavy in the trade makes it a little less terrible.
quote:

they are somewhat geographically isolated

They are not.

There's trade and mutual cooperation (to the annoyance of Azerbaijan) in the Caspian Sea, and Russia has a major base at Gyumri in neighboring Armenia (which is an ally of Iran due to mutual dislike of Azerbaijan).

Azeris are the largest minority in Iran, something like 16-25% of the overall population, and their language and culture are actively suppressed, with the result that there are separatist sentiments expressed by some, which the government of Azerbaijan has sometimes clandestinely supported.

There are a number of very significant disputes between Iran, Azerbaijan, and Russia over mineral rights to the massive oil deposits in the Caspian. The fall of the "Islamic Republic" would change the balance of power in the area.
If we can't execute a trade, then we just need to cut and stretch him. We can't pay him $34 million for next season.

It's close to the point of just telling him to stay home. If Dejounte were back, I wonder if that would have happened already.
Ja is just another version of Zion. He's always injured, he doesn't contribute as much to winning as the rep implies, and he's had plenty of off-court drama.
Unlike some others on this board, I fully support keeping Herb and Trey. But I absolutely do not understand why Zion is untouchable. That makes zero sense.

The good news is that we still have plenty of time to change our mind before the trade deadline.
All true, except the claim that Dejounte was "awful" before getting injured. That's not fair at all. He broke his hand in the first game of the season. He came back and had to get back in rhythm and then hurt the achilles.
Maybe the pressure will indeed increase. We'll see.

What we can say is that MAGA no longer includes Tucker, MTG, and several other of the loudest pro-Russian voices it used to have. Rubio's influence is obviously much stronger now.

Vol likes to talk about trends. This one is bad for Russia.

No Herb and no Jose means that the Hawks will score 170 points.

No Trey means that we will struggle to score 100.
