Depends what time of day it is. That can be a long ride.

LaGuardia to Midtown isn't terrible, even during rush. JFK is a different story.

Would prefer to have a suv/limo rather than cab as there will be 4 of us with luggage.

I agree with people who have said Uber Black.

Google maps is great with directing you to the subway. Its really amazing now. No more breaking out the map.

It really is amazing. Just tell it where you want to go and it’ll give you times, directions, alerts while you’re on you way, everything.

Thanks Guys. We will be landing at 10:30 AM, so I am hoping that traffic won't be too bad.

Generally, should be OK. Your ride will take you 278W to the East Side Highway or 278E through Midtown Tunnel. Either way, would probably budget ~40-45 minutes midday.

Also, I'm with others that say you should just order an Uber Black.

Dial 7 is a fixed price. I used Uber once and got caught in rush hour gridlock Manhattan 5pm traffic, for like 1.5 hours. They upcharge for being stuck in traffic and it doubled the fare. I only use Dial 7 now.
