So, they announced earlier this year that the historic run was finally coming to an end. At first, it was going to be in Feb. Now it's April 16th. That actual final show will be closed to the public, but the 8PM on Saturday, the 15th is open to the public and is sold out.

Question: what is best site to buy secondary market tickets for Broadway shows like this?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I suspect that you're going to need to stock up on KY before trying to buy those tix.

Great show, by the way. Never saw it on Broadway, but I've seen the touring production 3 times.

Great show but I have seen it several times and that is enough.

Have you tried the half price ticket booth (TKTS)? You may have to go earlier than the 15th.

I am sure that this ticket will not come close to being at the TKTS booth.

Update: I've been checking once per week, and seemingly out of nowhere, there were some I found on Broadway.com a few days ago - front row, closing night - $750/each! I grabbed them immediately. Doesn't that seem crazy low for what it is?

Follow up question: does anyone have a recommendation on a pre-show restaurant that is actually nice? I know they have all those standards right around theaters, but those aren't that exceptional. Looking for a high quality experience that still leaves plenty of time to get to the show without rushing. TIA

Dude. It's NYC. Every type of food you want is at your disposal; pick your poison.

Plus, the majestic is like 1 block from times square. Tons of options.

Gabriel kreuthers on 42nd.
Gallaghers on 52nd.
Ippudo on 51st.

Hell. Carmine's is on the same block.

I lived in NYC for years (a LONG time ago), so I am out of the "scene". I'm not looking for old stand bys - I obviously know those exist. I'm talking about Top 20 type of stuff that is still somewhat proximal to the theater district and/or hidden gems that are actually high quality and not just "good enough because they're close".

I ended up on the front row of both the final public performance (Saturday) and the actual final, invitation-only show on Sunday. It was a pretty awesome experience (including the after party).
