We’re looking to head over in July. Haven’t booked reservations yet, and just trying to figure out things to do with the kids, youngest being 5. We enjoy hiking and are up for any outdoor activities that are kid friendly. Planning on flying in to Denver. Any help would be appreciated!

We did a tour with Estes Park Guided Tours. Guy drove us through RMNP by the Estes entrance showing us a bunch of different areas and stopped at the better spots for little walks. With a 5 year old that may be something worthwhile. Tour and guide was great and highly recommend it.

Hiking, horseback riding, white water rafting, aerial tram, arcade, stocked pond, amusement rides, it’s endless for a child

Estes Park has the nicest McDonalds I’ve ever been too. It’s the local old man breakfast hang out spot. Check it out.

several easy scenic hikes in RMNP. Bear Lake is one(parking lot fills up quick so you want to be there really early or later in the day). You can also take a shuttle if the lots are full.

most of the rafting outfitters are around ft collins but it's a scenic drive to get there.

Estes has some fun stuff in town for kids, some amusement park type places.

rent a raft or paddle boat on estes lake.
