Cowles Mountain is a close hike with a great view of the city, Oscar's and Taco Surf for great tacos and burritos. Old town mexican cafe was great. La Jolla and Pacific Beach were my favorite beaches with tons to do along the boardwalk. Wednesday Farmer's Market in Ocean Beach. So much small things in each area that you can't go wrong.
