Looking to go somewhere this winter, and I've never done solo traveling before but heard it can be very fun. The problem is I have no clue where to go- please help! Dates most likely will be dec 12-15th so 3-4 days max. Places that have come to mind at first are Boise, Boston, and Denver (ETA: Maine?) - but again I dont have a clue.

Things that interest me:
breweries
historical sites
museums
live events (frick covid)
outdoors

Things im looking for:
cold/snow
uber/lyft easily
nothing uber expensive lodging wise

Northeast would fit the bill.

Could do Boston, Vermont, and Maine if you wanted. But make sure your flights and lodging are fully refundable. I’d be shocked if MA doesn’t go back into lockdown at some point

Although if “live events” is a must, look elsewhere. None of that happening here.

Chicago fits what you are looking for under normal circumstances, though I am not sure how open the city is right now.

Went to Missoula, MT recently. It's a really cool city. Small (75k population), but has a lot of what you're looking for. It's a college town too, so there is a younger crowd of people if that's what you're looking for. The Residence Inn Downtown is new and really nice.

There are a few breweries in the city, some interesting bars and solid restaurants, and of course the great outdoors. There are some old ghost towns around that area too that you can go check out.

Not sure if they have live events going on, or museums, but everything else on your list is there.

One of the best trips I ever had was Vail village... all walking... great restaurants... plenty of bar options... It was a random week in early spring when I flew in... The George had a Bachelor Party and a Roller Derby team party.. good night

Seattle / Pacific Northwest may fit the bill. Not sure on the "live events" aspect however.
