Tagging along a bachelor trip to go to the Clemson game and we will be staying in Pickens. I think some of the group is doing some outdoors stuff that Friday or Sunday. Anything to do in Pickens and in Clemson? I'm hoping to arrive late lunch on Friday so we have enough time to maybe go around campus for a tiny bit, grab a bite, then get drinks someplace.

Not really. Greenville is the better option.
Great outdoors stuff around there, though. Table Rock is a great option.

Not much going on in Pickens. Everything around is pretty rural. The lakes around that area are gorgeous (Jocasse and Keowee).
If you’re flying into GSP airport then definitely check out Greenville. There is literally a Western North Carolina sized waterfall running through its downtown. Lots of good food and it’s a beautiful downtown.
Otherwise I’d head straight to Clemson. The downtown is small. The standard watering holes will be TDs, Tiger Town Tavern and the ESSO Club. The ESSO is across from the stadium so you can save that for game day and get the full experience. There’s also some secret parking in some yards back there on N Clemson Ave if you guys don’t have parking taken care of yet.
Campus would be best explored on foot. It’s more pedestrian friendly than vehicular because there is a perimeter road that circles the campus and you won’t be able see much from that road. Starting with the historic section around Tillman Hall then down to the library and the head towards the stadium.
Feel free to ask additional questions.

We're driving from BR and shooting to arrive by 3pm, do all the stuff we can, take a few energy drinks, and get to the airbnb by evening.

hiking, fly fishing, golf (Clemson has a very nice campus course, but might be hard to get on for a game weekend. Furman is down the road and also has a nice course).
