In no particular order

Atlanta
Los Angeles
New Orleans
Denver
Honolulu

I haven't been to San Fransisco, Seattle, NYC, DC, Portland, or really any other major city so I'm pretty limited

I'll go with those four and add Boston, Chicago barely behind.

But I'd rather be in a campground in a beautiful spot than any city.

"In America, there is New York, New Orleans, and San Francisco. Everywhere else is Cleveland."

- Mark Twain

Not sure he'd say the same thing in 2016, but still a great quote.

SF
Chicago
NYC
Either DC, Boston or Portland

New Orleans was my favorite city in the US before I'd been anywhere else. Still top ten.

Denver somewhere in top ten.

Does San Juan count? Definitely top ten.

No to ATL. No to Charlotte. Not to crazy about Dallas. Nor Miami. SEA is okay I guess.

Headed to Austin and San Diego within the year.

I grew up and went to college in Madison, currently live in Chicago, and my parents live in Manhattan, otherwise each would be in my top-five.

Outside of those, in no particular order:

- Minneapolis, MN
- Austin, TX
- Burlington, VT
- San Diego, CA
- Denver, CO

ETA: totally spaced on Denver... Swapping for Scottsdale, though the terrain of Arizona really appeals to me.

My ILs live in PHX. I hate it because of the lack of greenery. Very sterile and bland. To each its own I guess.

I've only been in Chicago about 2.5 years, but I've made 3 separate trips to Madison. It's such a great city. I think it sucks LSU is getting gyped out of experiencing Madison in exchange for Green Bay next month.

San Diego
Chicago
Nashville
Salt Lake City
Phoenix metro area (Scottsdale/Tempe)

Denver not on the list, unless you consider 9.5 yrs a visit.

ETA: Funny no one said Las Vegas

I said it, but included a disclaimer. The appeal of Vegas isn't the city itself, it's the vices the city provides. It's not for everyone.

Having grown up in the midwest, and spending a lot of time in the New England and Mid-Atlantic region, I don't get to fully-appreciate or -experience the rocky, desert terrain. It's different, so it's something I like. The architecture deviates from what you see in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions, too. In addition, I just like experiencing other cities' nightlife; Scottsdale/Tempe are a lot of fun.

You were that kid who did all of the problems on a homework sheet even though the teacher said you only had to do the odd numbered ones, weren't you?
