I stayed in an RV site last year so I cant say much about the primitive spots. But I found it to be a very clean park, lots of good fishing, and a nice area to paddle board, kayak, and swim.

I missed where you said Arkansas. I’ve hiked the Eagle Rock Loop and the scenery was pretty good. Watched a bald Eagle fly down a stream right in front of me. They’ve got some primitive camping if you hike in a bit
