Bump
After reading this thread again and a few others and doing some more research I think I’ve settled on The Palms Turks & Caicos. Anyone been there before or visited this property and have any insight?

The Palms is very nice. I stayed right next door at Somerset but we did walk around the pool area at The Palms. You can't go wrong with The Palms

I stayed at one of their sister resorts (The Beach House) several years ago. The group that runs Blue Haven is good, so I have no doubt it would be a fine place. The "problem" with it is that it's not on Grace Bay Beach.

Screw the resort. There are tons of nice villas you can get. Turks and caicos is very safe i wouldnt at all.

Check out the shore club. May be in your price range and it’s been mentioned on here before

Does anyone know if club med is still blaring loud music? Last time in TCI, we stayed at grace bay club and could hear it. We were thinking about a place that is a bit closer to club med and I’d hate to ruin a trip because of the shitfest going on there.
We did Grace Bay four years ago and I didn't notice any music. I only knew Club Med was there when the snorkeling boat guy showed us.

We've been staying at the Tuscany for the past few trips, which is relatively close to Club Med, and we generally walk by its beach front several times. I do sometimes hear music during the day when walking by it, but I haven't found it overly obnoxious and certainly don't hear it at night.

Two restaurants that I highly recommend are Infiniti and Grace's Cottage.

Has it gone downhill? We stayed there in the past but our last trip to T&C was 2013. I know that a very good restaurant left the premises. We also heard shady stories about the ownership while we were there. Fortunately, we had no issues during our stays.

The Palms is very nice. We stayed there for a week last summer and it was top notch. Staff treats you like family. Would definitely go again.
