We’re going to DC 12/10-12/14... Uh, what should I expect?

So we have a trip coming up in a few weeks with a couple friends. Trying to just get a feel of how this is going to go.
AirBnB’ing it about a mile northeast of the White House on O St NW. Really nice looking AirBnB, but hell that’s pretty much the only thing that’s set in concrete.
So I'm looking for some recommendations on things we can do. We’re fine following mask mandates, but don’t want to deal with a terrible amount of bullshite either.
Anybody been there recently and have any insight on pretty much anything?
Restaurants are very important. The only thing we’ve had suggested are Filomena in Georgetown and one of the wives want to go to Fiola Mare, which also looks to be in Georgetown. We want to do nice dinners all 4 nights, good breakfasts, and probably going to be doing lunch on the go most of the time. The two restaurants I mentioned above don’t look like steak places, so we’ll be craving a good steak.

We were in DC for the 4th this year, not sure how much has changed since then, but the mask stuff was similar to Louisiana, basically just wear a mask inside of buildings. My cousins who live there mentioned that some people are a little more "weird" about wearing masks outside there than we typically experience here.
Officina at The Wharf was really good, it's Italian.

Yeah, that’s the read I get when taking to the AirBnB owner, but when she reached out about a month ago, I got the vibe she was trying to make sure she still has a tenant.
What were y’all able to do/enjoyed doing as far as museums, attractions, etc.?

It wasn't our first time there, so we didn't do much in terms of touristy stuff. We did rent scooters and rode around the monuments, White House, Capital, etc... and that was really fun.

Interested in this thread...we are supposed to be going on December 18th. The wife is skeptical, so feedback would be appreciated.
