Still have to play the games. It's the depth ama has that give them the biggest edge. Honestly, top 22 players on any SEC team.sans U.S.C., Vandy, Ark.can match up against the nation's best top 10 teams. Albeit, the depth takes a toll in the second half. Especially, the 4the quarter!

Easier to win with the best talent yearly. Honestly, Saban should never lose. :)

If you are talking strictly talent, I think 1-8 is pretty reasonable but that said, I think a team like OU is disproportionately highly rated based on offensive players and kind of thin on the defensive side of the ball. After 8 though, I think there is a pretty sizable drop off with the exception of maybe Notre Dame
