Yeah the goal is to blockade Iran.
Iran blockading and attacking neutral countries for transiting the strait has nothing to do with the American blockade of Iran.
Iran can not touch the US blockaders, so they attack the ships of "neutral" countries like India because it is all they can do.
And it is a safe bet, because India is weak and wont do anything other than complain about it.

The US has closed the strait to all naval traffic to/from Iranian ports.
The Iranians (via Insurance companies) have "closed" the strait to everyone else.
Hope that clears it up.

Biden's "stop evil oil" campaign did more damage to oil prices than the Strait of Hormuz being closed.
And it was done on purpose, with the world economy sill dependent on fossil fuels.
Of course it was going to trigger massive inflation.
And we did not even get any dead terrorists out of it. Hell we did not even get any better green energy out of it.
This current Iran operation was 100x more successful than the Biden "plan" to move to net zero and unicorn farts.

Every single character/part.
The show highlights the interaction between these mentally ill people.
That is all there is to it. Once you understand this, the series makes a lot more sense.
