I know it's not how yall wanted to end it but NCAA fricked you with brackets. Glad we don't have to face yall again and think we match up better with Indiana than another game with UK.didnt realize Kyle Wiltjer was a wildcat, why did he transfer? Imo he just looks like a guy that plays for the Zags.
i remember getting hyped about thomas johnson, Such a big pickup. Spurned the horns to play with us and was so talented. Then all the sudden it turns out he was a headcase and for whatever reason never could adjust to the lifestyle
re: Unbiased Nightly: Which teams will expose A&M's defense in 2014?
Posted by 1991Aggie on 3/4/14 at 10:45 pm to goldennugget
short and simple, everybody exposed our D last year. If you went to the bar and picked up 10 other guys to play Offense, yall would get 300+ offense and score 30+. Just run the wheel route. With that said i expect our defense to take a huge step forward this year. I think we finally have some pieces in place to start building a quality defense. Im not saying we are gonna rank up there with Bama and Lsu(still hate you guys) but probably in the middle of the pack. I figure we will probably finish with about the same record we did this year.
re: What are the odds of Auburn stealing Dylan Mack away from the Aggies

Idk why but i get this feeling that OSU will be a game changer and probably 2nd in his list of schools that he could see himself at.
I think with the SEC brand A&M is further ahead then many people want to think or admit. I do think this upcoming season will be huge in keeping the momentum. We have a new QB and we dont have any games at Kyle Feild which is a big blow. I like Strong but i think it will take a few years to right that ship. If A&M can go 8-4 with a bowl win i think we will be ok. 2015 is the season were we should be able to make another run at the title.
re: Better film than Daylon Mack's?
Posted by 1991Aggie on 2/13/14 at 3:37 am to jvilletiger25
Aubbies he is coming to Texas A&M, Unless we just fall of the face of the world next year. LSU was a game changer at one point as well. He also actively recruits hard for A&M so i wouldnt get my hopes up if i was you guys.
fellow aggies dont disregard the Myles Garret effect. People knew he was good but after the Under Armor game everyone wanted him. Daylons a beast and everyone knows it but some think hes not the best DT. I figure he will also move up in 247 rankings throughout the year. As far as highlight videos go Daylons is the best ive seen in a long time.

as for 2013 you have to include Myles Garret in the convo. I havent looked up enough players for 14 but Daylon Macks vid on hudl will make you laugh. He actually has good speed for someone his size

lmao at the guy that says Scarbrough will be better then Fournette. Fournette is a freaking animal which we wont see another RB built like him and have his talents for a while. Theres a Scarbrough every year.
re: Kevin Shorter back on the market
Posted by 1991Aggie on 11/14/13 at 7:07 am to aTm's conference now
we have a guy named cedric collins that has a back injury and will probably never play football again. Sumlin is still going to honor his scholarship. sad to see an athlete have an injury that keeps him away from what he loves.
re: How Bad Will Kentucky(B-Ball) Beat Your Team?
Posted by 1991Aggie on 11/12/13 at 10:52 pm to betweenthebara
while our team is MUCH improved, we cant hang with Kentucky. they will be up 10 @ halftime and we will keep it within 30 by the end of the game

Those Louisiana kids can play some football. Almost all the kids we've got from there have exceeded expectations. Nice get!

Shorter to Arkansas would be a match made in heaven. He would be burried in depth here. At Arky he will be a feature back at some point behind a good O-line that runs the ball. Idk why he commited to Texas in the first place. how bout you guys get shorter, we will take Frazier off your hands deal?

im just gonna start repeating myself over and over again when i see the "sumlin to USC" post. its not happening ppl. he will hear from them to get a pay raise and thats it. He is making a killing right now at A&M in the SEC. He can become a legend here. USC is an attractive place but Sumlin feels very comfertable in college station. only threat is NFL.

I hope we get him as a Saftey! We are stacked at WR and have more of a need in that area. This is a highly recruited kid though so i will trust the coaches decision when it comes down to position

LSU is banking on a lot of recruits to commit. You guys are gonna have a great class! A&M has a great class too. I dont think you guys will come away with a clean sweep with all the recruits you think your gonna get. Let me ask you this though. If you had to choose who your HC was, would you pick Miles or Sumlin? What Sumlin would do with LSU should be illegal. He's got charisma, he's young and ill pull out the racist card. He's Black! You guys would already have LF,Speedy, and Willis with the class you already have if he was your coach. This may come off as a distasteful opinion but its 100% true
ohh and in the SEC every single one of our games have been on TV.... I dont think TV time is gonna be an issue

^ maybe. ill give you that but the tax in california is a big deal! right or wrong i am not worried about Sumlin going to USC. He loves A&M and is building a great foundation here. As much as i hate LSU because they are a threat. I believe in time A&M and BAMA will be fighting for Natty's while LSU has a chance every 2-4 years. Coming from a homer

would be a very nice addition to this already monster class.

not to get into the banter back and forth but people dont realize the recruiting advantage we have gained since being in the SEC. Texas would have to hire Saban to battle with us for recruits. Arky your days of beating A&M are behind us now. You guys might pull it off every now and then but it wont even be considered a rivalry anymore in a few years.
The SEC has changed A&M fellas. I will probably get flamed for bragging about our backup qb but he looked good last Saturday. I know it was against an inferior opponent but the touch was nice. i think we will take a small step back in offense but defense will be much improved. I will admit that its to early to put us up there with LSU&Bama even though we are gonna beat LSU this year. Mark my words though, we will be fighting with the top tier teams throughout for that Natty

re: How far will Texas A&M drop next season?
Posted by 1991Aggie on 10/25/13 at 4:54 pm to piggilicious
^ piggilicious is 100% correct. I think we can go anywhere from 7-6 to 9-4 of Johnny doesnt come back. Sumlin isnt going anywhere. It wont have all the pre season excitement like we had this year but still enjoyable season. Playing in the SEC and going 7-6 is a hell of a lot better then playing in the bigwtf and going 11-2...IMHO
He's a stud, our Dline will be anchored at both sides. PPl will find out how good this kid is.... OP change the freakin title. the whole point of making a post is to discuss the topic... People dont know what the topic is and all we get is ppl crying about the topic... FAIL
re: Who Is Your Second Favorite Team In The SEC?
Posted by 1991Aggie on 10/21/13 at 1:05 pm to slacker130
no one has A&M as their second favorite. is this because of our fans or because we have had a little bit of success thus far in SEC? Although i hate em on game day my second fave is Ole Miss

in case i was misunderstood, i totally think the L is on the defense. We knew they were bad going into the game though. I was just giving AUB credit for keeping their DL fresh. If they didnt do that then we would have scored on them. Also i think Johnny might come back next year. I think combine and him getting a little banged up this year will cause him to consider it atleast. Mike Evans is gone though
hes got a kid to feed
re: Horse Collar
Posted by 1991Aggie on 10/20/13 at 11:13 pm to StringedInstruments
Idk why aggies even bring this up. We all agree it was a horse collar but it shouldnt have came down to that. i could blindly pick out 11 posters on this forum alone and we could do what A&M's defense had been doing. Give AUB credit. Them rotating 9 different guys in at DL was the difference and showed that our Oline isn't invincible like we thought
lets make this reall simple. Does your offense beat itself? Can you guys win with 1 or 2 turnovers? A&M's awful defense gets lucky about twice a game with turnovers. You guys dont give up the rock i can def. see you guys pulling it out. With that said A&M 49-Aub 38
re: Bigger upset: AU over TAMU or Ole Miss over LSU?

Auburn has maybe a 20% chance of winning. lets not kid ourselves
re: LSU or A&M: Who has the better team right now?
Posted by 1991Aggie on 10/13/13 at 6:51 pm to Rickdaddy4188
Rickdaddy thats all im trying to say. Lsu is the better team. obviously but i think Johnny has a little revenge for you guys. Lsu and Bama are the only two teams that have really beaten Johnny. Florida hasnt got to play the real JM
