re: When do the Saints go to Philly?

Posted by AlienYall on 1/2/14 at 3:27 pm to
They needed to have they arse up there the morning after the Philly/Dallas game to prepare in the weather change all week long. Not just a couple of days before the game.
Bradley Cooper is my n***a now. dude was legit in both movies listed above and The Place Beyond the Pines (even though Gosling stole the show in that one)

go ahead and pray.....

And then he needs special equipment to simulate the Edwards Jones Dome in St. Louis… …

then just take the team to a vacant Home Depot or Sam's Club and let them throw the ball around.

lol at that glorified warehouse in St. Louis.

How much are they? I'll chip in if they would actually use the damn things.

found one company that will fill the entire area with snow and they charge $3,595 for every 20x24 feet and you can order as much as you want. how much would a football field cost at that price? regardless it's pocket change for Benson even if he had to pay it every day for the entire week.

also even when the field is already completely covered the blowers can continue to steadily pump out snow to create the illusion all the way through practice.

they can't be that expensive and would definitely help the team adjust.
classless move by LSU and Johnson here. faking injuries is for cowards.

re: Peyton to keep yds record

if Brees was black the NFL would have done the right thing and changed the record because of media pressure.

but since he's not, they chose to protect their good ole boy and just turn a blind eye.
quote:

This is incredibly stupid also. Points are king, because you know, the entire objective of an offense is to SCORE POINTS.

when you're up 3, 4, and even 5 scores in the final minutes of the game and Manning is still out there throwing 2-yard touchdown passes .... that's called stat padding.

the record is impressive regardless, but don't try and act as if his touchdown record is just so much more impressive than the yardage record. they're both impressive. neither is that much more special than the other. it can be argued both ways.
quote:

Huh? Everything you just posted was completely irrelevant to what you quoted. You aren't the smartest knife in the drawer, eh?

nice try. you fail.

LOL at you completely ignoring the second half of the post that addressed the quoted part.

quote:

completely absurd logic to have.

what about the fact that Brees threw a few less passes that year and was also more accurate than Manning was? Brees completed over 71% of his passes and Manning was at 68%.

also if you watched Manning this season then you will know that at least 15 of his touchdown passes either came during garbage time or were stat padding 1 and 2 yard TD passes whenever they could have easily ran the ball.

point being ... the touchdown record is no more impressive than the yardage record is. the only reason that you're saying that the touchdown record is more impressive is because it benefits Manning.

quote:

Manning is the only QB to throw screens on the goal line. Only one.

not at all and not the point.

however Manning was the only QB this season to repeatedly do it in the fourth quarters of games when the Broncos were already up by 3+ scores.
quote:

The single season touchdown record trumps both of them as it is the pinnacle of QB records.

no it doesn't.

well it does if you're one of those LSU Manning fans who hug his nuts because you really enjoyed "The Book of Manning" special.

"The Book of Manning" fans turn a blind eye to the fact that AT LEAST 15 of Manning's touchdowns this season came during garbage time and/or were 1-2 yard stat padding touchdown passes that should have been a run play.
quote:

I posted last night that it was a cool record to have, but not as impressive as the passing td record. In the grand scheme of things it's not really that important for Manning's legacy

Call me old school (or honest I should say), but I'm not down with stealing movies like that that.

Especially if it's actors and movies that I enjoy. I don't mind spending the $7-9 on a ticket to support it.

I know how this would be cool, but I love watching movies like this in theater with surround sound on the HD screens. \

I agree.

Some people are just cheap as dirt and will do anything to justify their blatant act of theft.

re: Paul Walker

Posted by AlienYall on 12/31/13 at 4:41 pm to
Friend of mine knew him on a personal level for about 9 years. The last time he hung out with him they went dirt bike riding somewhere around Baton Rouge when he was filming the movie Hours several months ago.

He always said Paul was legit and down to earth and for a dude from California he had a lot of southern connections. Said he was all about the outdoors in Louisiana (hunting, fishing, etc).
quote:

I hope they over turn the record so tulanetigerfan can lose his shite.

This.

Tulanetigerfan puts Lisa Ann's head game to shame when it comes to his boy Peyton Manning.
quote:

This is the quote from the ESPN article. "Another angle, from above, shows Decker receiving the ball at the Broncos' 48-yard line, with Manning slightly deeper than that." But where Manning is when the ball is caught doesn't mean jack shite. The only thing that matters is where Manning releases the ball.

and as expected this mysterious footage that ESPN claims to have seen is nowhere to be found. why? because it's bullshite.

they're just doing everything they can to protect Manning in this situation.
quote:

Then why does ESPN not put this to rest with their other angle.

because it doesn't help push the Manning propaganda that they want to sell.

Manning is incredible. possibly the best ever .... but the record is tainted. not legit whatsoever.
quote:

Perhaps you guys missed the ESPN article explaining that it was not definitive. An overhead angle shows the ball going forward while the side angle makes it seem like a lateral.

perhaps you didn't see the dozens upon dozens of legit news sources saying otherwise.

IF it was not "definitive" because of an overhead angle, then why not show it? where is this footage? because the only footage out there clearly shows it was a lateral.
quote:

They aren't going to overturn this.

they might

quote:

Its not really definitive.

yes, yes it is. only a Peyton Manning fan boy would argue otherwise.

quote:

Its going to be like a replay review, call on the field stands.

which is a shame because it taints the record and basically means that Manning's "record" needs a big next to it.

I also knew several players who played under Saban and they all say the exact opposite.

getting his nails painted at the Children's Hospital in NOLA.

I still can't get over the bus boy and waiter in New Orleans telling me we have to get rid of Drew. The Sad part is there are plenty of others that feel the same way. People will be crying for another Drew once he retires.

Anyone who says that we need to get rid of Brees was not a "die hard" fan UNTIL Brees came to town.

They are also usually very ignorant to the game of football as well. Some people act as if a Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, or fun boy Aaron Rodgers is the norm for QB's in the NFL. Their ignorance is quite comical to be honest.
The media needs to crank up their propaganda machine like they love doing against the Saints with all the road struggle talk....

"But can the Eagles get over their Philly crowd struggles and win at home?!"

Other than liberal speeches

that is why.

it's all apart of the media's agenda.
