But get the 2nd,3rd round guy and get his best, most explosive 4 years before the league takes them.

This draft is one of the weakest at RB in a while. There’s a few good guys at the top, and some guys who could be late round gems, but there won’t be much there on day 2 or early day 3.
Guard, Penn St

I know that a lot of mocks today don't have him that high, but he looked ridiculously good at the combine and draft community is already starting to talk about him as maybe top 10

Just something to consider

Personally I’d call Tomlin if I was them

I used to spend almost every Saturday when i was off from work watching football from 11am to whenever the late games ended, this year was the first year where a lot of that changed. My interest just isn't there and its not because the Huskers suck, they've been irrelevant for 20+ years now, its just because so much of CFB is dead to me at this point and im really starting to hate what its becoming.

This is a fallacy. The reality is that CFB viewership right now is higher than it’s ever been. Just because you aren’t interested doesn’t mean the masses aren’t.
Stop moving OL from their natural positions.

I agree in principle but you really cant take an IOL at pick 8. If the Miami OT is there, id take him and then figure out Fuaga vs. him later. But if you pick an OL it has to have OT potential, at least.

We have a terrible recent history of drafting OL early and for most of them we changed their position like this. We have to stop doing that shite.

I think wanting a WR at 8 is a little short sighted.

Vele, Olave, and JJ all looked great with Shough. I bet we sign a solid WR in FA.

We HAVE to protect Shough. You win in the trenches

There is no one at a position of need on the OL that is anywhere near appropriately valued at pick 8

More likely we find good guard prospects in round 2 or 3

Dissapointingly only one OG on the list.

I've been talking about this for a while. Good OL rarely make it to FA. I've seen "just sign a good OG in FA" like 10,000 times on this board...not easy

Get this man some Guards
I love Burrow and would love it if he was a Saint but it just doesn’t make sense for where this team is in its rebuild. His contract is huge and we have an even worse supporting cast than Cincy.

If things were different I would support it 100%.

Instead I’m hoping he lands somewhere that lets him succeed.
Don’t you have bigger issues right now
If we draft another OT in the first I’m ending it all

We’re definitely going to spend some of the money this offseason and piss off people who still want us to be in tank mode.

The best time to spend is when your starting QB is on a rookie contract

I wish! Shough has some wheels but Josh Allen would get him in a race.

It's possible Josh has gotten faster in the NFL but Shough was a full 0.1s faster in the 40

Weeks 1-2 everyone plays a G4 or FCS teams ONLY as a "preseason"

Power conference teams should only play other power teams.

That would gut athletic programs for FCS and G4 teams across the country that rely on playing P4 schools for money. I think it makes sense to have a 2 week preseason where schools can continue to play ONLY those FCS and G5 teams to "warm up" for the year and get those athletic budgets funded with TV Money
