I do understand probability, and I do understand I increase the chance of dying much younger and making my kids fatherless if I was in an accident,
But other people being jackass’s behind the wheel, or increased traffic, or smart phones are not reasons I will ever park my scoot, That will be my choice whenever I decide not to ride again. No one else’s. I fought for my right to freedom, and everyone else’s freedom. That includes opinion, lifestyle, and vehicle of choice. If I want to cruise st 50 mph in a 65 enjoying the weather. Or do 100+ from Natchitoches to Houma at 3 am on empty roads it’s my choice. I know my ability in my scoot, And I don’t know the ability of the cages around me. Won’t stop me from riding solo or in a pack. We all have different opinions and views, which is exactly what makes this country great. Not nocking anyone who doesn’t like mine, and I won’t knock anyone else’s, Just asking the same in return.

Right! Never noticed how many people stay on their phones, Including the one’s enforcing the law’s. I have 3 of my own, my girlfriend has one, and we have one on the way, I still ride almost daily. For 4 years it was my only vehicle. But i have a truck now so it’s not as often. But I’ll never stop riding until I am physically unable too. My kids understand. And I understand the risk everytime I get on it. You can die choking on your corn smacks in the morning. When it’s your time, it’s your time.

Correct. Which is why most states that have laws No helmet laws, in order to ride without one, you have to have XXX.XXX amount of dollars worth of insurance. For that reason. And I agree with that.
Play stupid games, when stupid prizes. But. Everyone should have the freedom of choice to be stupid or not. Lol. As long as I don’t have to pay for it.

It’s all about the freedom and choice. I’ve rode without helmets before. And I’ll. Used to ride with only skid lids. But I had never been in an accident at the time. Since I’ve gone down a few times, I only wear my full face. But I feel it should be freedom of choice. If you don’t want to wear it don’t. But don’t hate when you become a vegetable.

It’s that time of year. Cooler months, more seasonal bikes on the road, newer younger less experienced drivers in cages. Happens year after year.

A few months ago i bought my bike, after we did the paperwork i called my insurance guy, got the insurance done over the phone, they faxed over proof of insurance to the dealer, left there to get the inspection sticker. Told him i was on my way to get my endorsement, he gave me the sticker no problem, went take the written test, and they passed me on the skills test cause i rode the bike there, all completed in about 3 hours.

I'm flying in from offshore this morning. I'm glad some places are open, cause not everyone has big family's to eat with. Nothing wrong with fast food places being open.

I will never understand why people pay so much on a ring. I guess its all to keep the wife happy. When me and my wife were getting married I told her I would get her any wring she wanted. She picked a $69 dollar set from Walmart. Then I told her I would splurge and buy her a second set, she found a casual one on amazon complete set for $39. After a year or so mine was stolen by some galley hands when they went threw my locker so we got our rings tattooed on for another $60. So for a grand total of $170 bucks she has 3 different rings. Guess its good the wife doesn't care about shite like that.

I had a buddy who had done several of them. He basically removed the hard drive, hooked it up to a computer, flashed the BIOS, and reloaded the software on a bigger harddrive with more room. Even had a program on it that I was able to rent games, rip them to the hard drive and return the game. it was pretty sweet, im sure with some digging around on the internet you can do it yourself.

No. Veterans protested because of mislead information. Those Veterans happened to be in the local H.O.G. chapter which is not a biker gang. Yes, Martin made a simple gas station argument between a clerk and customer get way to big, all because that customer is a BIG supporter of HTV.
Customer asked for a can of dip.
Clerk grabbed wrong one.
Customer said some hateful crap about him not being from America, and should learn about America before coming here.
Clerk called him an a-hole.
Customer proudfully asked if the clerk knew who he was and that he was a veteran,
Clerk stated if he was a veteran all veterans were assholes, but he didn't know what the word veteran meant until after.
Not defending either one, but I have talked to the clerk before, and he likes America and personally thanked me for my service while talking about the military a few years back.
Just shows that even in a small town like Houma, people with money can get whatever message they want across and move people to do whatever they want.

i work offshore as well, and im here more than i am home most time. Can't wear rings on any rigs i go on so i just went the tat route. We each got the others initial on our ring finger, 65 bucks for both tats. cheap, simple, and can lose it or get it stolen.

I think the game starts at 7, we will be at a comedy/burlesque show starting at 9 at One Eyed Jacks. If the show is long enough, I think we may miss some of the crowd. But will probably run into them if we venture closer to bourbon after the show.

So I just realized, that I had booked an anniversary trip to New Orleans a few weeks back, and just realized it will be during the first home game. I know its just pre-season, but I was wondering how the quarter gets for a pre-season game? Does it get any crazier than normal?

doesn't bother me really, didn't bother me before my wife was pregnant, and still doesn't. I was raised around it so it does not bother me. It's natural, and It's America!

Taking a crap, and feeding your child when he/she is hungry is totally different. I just don't believe a mother should hide or cover her child cause it makes others un comfortable, when usually the people who have problems with it, are perfectly fine with nudity/topless/barely clad women every were you look. It's just natural and nothing wrong with it. But that is just my opinion, My wife breastfeeds when and wherever my little girl is hungry. I support it.
