If you want to complain about a non-call, the officials swallowed their whistles on what looked like a clear push off by the Kentucky guard on his drive to the basket with 5 seconds left. I thought Reece had pretty good position and Oweh extended his arm and pushed Reece completely out of the way. I also thought Miller had decent position on the shot challenge too. He didn’t jump into the offensive player. The offensive player jumped into him. That one is debatable because it’s in the circle though, but their guard clearly pushed off before that.

Where was nwoko? Why wasn’t he inserted for defense?

Matt McMahon sees this as a moral victory?
I don’t know who all of them are. I know that you can show some of them the record over his tenure and they don’t blink an eye with their unflinching loyalty to this coach. It’s more than the record. He had a healthy amount of money to improve this roster and we’re still seeing the same low IQ basketball from everyone not named Dedan Thomas Jr.
Obviously I’m not happy to have a shitty basketball program. We haven’t been relevant in years and the failure of the football program is the only reason there’s not more of a spotlight on this team. But it’s time to cut bait.
I’m starting to see this team like the McMen do

You say 14-44 in SEC play
We say 14 wins, 44 moral victories, ZERO losses. Suck it non-believers.

Do you really need to ask that? Bigs are slow and get taken off the dribble on switches. But McMahon continues to play man to man and try NOTHING else.
All of these losses need to be of the embarrassing kind. Change needs to be emphatic and needs to leave no doubt. These players that McDoofus has brought in are some of the lowest IQ basketball players I’ve ever seen on an LSU basketball team.
Chicken, you may want to hold off closing this board.

Based on this basketball performance we may be looking for a new coach sooner rather than later.

There was always going to be a buffer between Wade and the next successful coach at LSU. No one was going to take that job with the uncertainty that was created when Wade left. But it’s time. The SEC record speaks for itself.
I understand how losing your point guard and best player can affect the team. But this is ridiculous. Playing at home losing by almost 30 to one of the worst teams in the league is not equivalent to losing one player.

Please tell me this game was not part of Leavitt’’s visit plans.

What a negative this basketball program is for the recruitment of players in other sports.
I’ve never been more sure a program needed a coaching change than watching this first half.
Embarrassment doesn’t even come close to capturing how bad this performance is.

Was just about to comment on this. Every single one of these players tonight should get absolutely nothing for tonight’s game with regards to NIL money. What a joke.

This is probably the best defensive effort we've played against all season. Missing our PG and best player spells disaster. Called it when it was announced he was going to be out
This is complete bullshite!
One player does not equate to a 25 point deficit AT HOME to one of the worst teams in the league. McMahon did not have this team prepared tonight PERIOD!

He shouldn’t make it past tonight.

Frocking clown show.
You can always tell when a team is bad when you have a wide open rebound and two guys go for it, knock it out of bounds and both try to save it.

This uncanny how bad this team looks without Thomas in the court. Sutton has completely disappeared. And no one is throwing Nwoko lobs for him to dunk. They can’t defend. Guards are getting beat off the dribble by the other team’s centers and forwards. We’re good at fouling and that’s about it. This is as embarrassing as the A&M game was for football this past year.
Haven’t watched a lot of SEC games this year but I can’t imagine another home team getting worse officiating than what I’m seeing so far. Big time contact at the rim draws no foul but a ticky tack touch foul does for LSU every time.
Keep in mind, this has no bearing on how bad this team is.
But two things you can count on in a home LSU game . Lopsided officiating against and a player for the other team unable to miss.

It’s just not working. It’s more than the SEC record. I can see with my eyes how they play that it’s just bad basketball. Low IQ players with no idea how to play with any solid fundamentals. And these kinds of bad teams are never rewarded by the officials.
The one thing Kim wasn’t worried about, and you can search through her post game pressers to hear it from her own lips, was that this team could score the ball. Well, after playing the only two teams with a pulse they’ve had season lows in back to back games. Their bigs are terrible and there’s no inside out game.
And how do you lose a game in which you out rebound the other team by 20? By committing 22 turnovers. And most of those are boneheaded mistakes.
Kim has her work cut out and this team needs to do some soul searching. They are not as talented or as good as they think they are and it’s going to take better focus and toughness to get where they want to go.

He fumbled Frank’s football. No more touches. Which is about 2 less than he was gonna get if he hadn’t fumbled.
We had 14 points with over 10 minutes left in the 1st Qtr

And not a point in the next 25 minutes of game play.
