I totally agree and understand how recuiting works. No luv lost on this end. He is happy and that's all that matters. It's all about getting that degree

In life as some of us already know comes challenges. Being that he will have to adjust to the weather. He will be ok. They decided to redshirt all 4 freshman receiver's. Wasn't expecting that but we have to trust the staff.
My mom use to say all the time that "sometimes you have to luv who luv's you". We will always luv LSU but we are "gophers" now

We never actually spoke to any coaches. However, Jimmy was working hard to get us in.
Things happen for a reason "that's life". We are excited about Minnesota. The staff at Minnesota are awesome. Jr is getting ready to put in work. He is hungry and has a chip on his shoulders.
Politics in high school football held him back his junior year but the Sky is the limit now.
LSU just found out about him too late in the recruiting process.
We are still LSU fans after "Da Gophers" lol

Regardless of how this unfolds we gave it our best. Melvin Jr will play football somewhere and I truly believe wherever that may be he will be a play-maker.

Oh, trust me. The boy will run a 4.5 @ 6:00 am. Matter of fact his best time in the 40 a few months ago was 4.47 three time in a row.

Proud? OMG he has been a true blessing to me. His name hasn't been out as long as the other receivers that I'm reading about but man on man when he gets his chance he is going to shock the world. "DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH" yes he is but just wait. I just feel it
