I love her lol and they are a bit wild but they are nice enough people. Amidst all of this remember that at the end of the day I respect her parents and I would do anything for her. The holidays will be interesting lol. It was a honor to make it out of dinner breathing and have them go home knowing I'm not a hoodlum lol.

The sad part about all of this is that it's true lol. I just am busy and am in a bad storm. I also know when I told my friend they were crying laughing. I figured I might as well entertain others with my story. Scouts honor everything I have said actually happened last night.

Disclaimer: her little brother has some medical stuff going on as you will soon see. He's not just a bad kid as much as chemically just off a bit.
We proceed to head back to the house and her little brother is just bad mouthing her dad the whole way in my truck. His mom has rubbed off on him so he just repeats what she says. Thankfully we took seperate cars.
We get back to the house and awkwardly stand around the cake. Her brother is currently hungover as idk what and barely looks awake.
Her mom forces her roommates to come downstairs (half dressed obviously not expecting it) and sing happy birthday with the family.
Amidst this little brother keeps screaming how nasty his mom is for going to a strip club. She gets mad and tells him off he proceeds to give it back to her. I awkwardly shuffle my feet and by now my indigestion is out the roof.
Cake was decorated by the mom and little brother proceeds to say it looks like crap. Another awkward moment as I shuffle my feet.
Me and hungover brother refuse cake because he looks like hell and will heave and honestly I was probably going to myself.
We attempt to light old candles and literally get a torch flame going. Everytime time we leave one it burnt out. Imagine 7 people attempting to light candles dead quietly.
Everyone quietly and awkwardly begins to eat cake. Her little brother escapes to play with fireworks. As soon as each plate was done I helped to clear off and rinse the dishes. It was the escape I needed for a second lol
I tried not to act like I knew the kitchen like the back of my hand but it was fruitless.
Little brother proceeds to try and light a sparkler in the house and every military child bone in my body screams.
My father bails me out and calls me not knowing what was happening
I'll finish up later on because folks it got better lol

Me and dad sat on seperate ends of the table but he actually made small talk.
I almost ate salad through the prayer. I had zoned out and he was talking low to her brother. Im mid chew on a olive when I receive an elbow to my ribs. This man is mid prayer and my fork had clanked the plate.
Her divorced mother began to talk about how she can't wait for the male strippers to come and asked my SI if she was coming.
He insisted he pay the bill. I got the cheapest possible piece of food. This chicken was the runt of the litter.

If this clears the air about her wants it pretty much goes to what TBird is saying. She loves her parents even if they haven't had the strongest relationship. Like any girl she just wants to make them proud and have her father walk her down the aisle. However before we even got deep into this relationship she informed me she didn't need them. She loves them but she knowingly told him realizing he may have kicked her out of his life. Of course she was scared but she wants to be happy more than she wants to give his racist ideals satisfaction.
Furthermore I am not a perfect person by any means. But I do believe that I have character. I know what is right and wrong and I respect those who even disagree with me. Respectfully I'd ask you to let your whole argument go. It isn't the case and it will never be.

I'm alive!
Lol sorry for the absence guys I'm alive. Pretty much I am still waiting for his schedule to free up for us to go eat. He has to be halfway ok with it because we just got back from a 7 night cruise in the carribean with my family. Either way I believe the initial shock is wearing off. He's become more inquisitive about who I am along with her grandma.
They apparently "knew all along" but never said anything because of denial I assume. Either way I'm just ready to go meet him. Her mom wants it to be a family affair and a big dinner though so we will see how it goes.
When we went on vacation he only texted one snarky remark too. He asked if I would sell her to the sex trade for money. I laughed at that one lol. Either way thanks for the advice guys and I'll update when the big night comes.

T-Minus three hours to dinner. They decided on chicken wings for supper. I actually laughed a bit at that one. He asked her if I would sell her to a sex ring while we are on vacation in a day or two. Which showed me he has some weak material lol. But seriously I plan on turning the other cheek and just being calm through dinner. My stance has really calmed my girlfriend down and she is really feeding off my confidence. Really appreciate you guys again for helping me make the most mature decision. I'll update after!

I appreciate the compliment! In actually decided to meet on his terms so I'm going to the house this evening. Hopefully nothing explosive happens and I can get in and out still showing him regardless my color I'm not a bad guy.
