OT and Edge.

Assume Reliford and Ross are your starting edges. That’s a total of 2 career sacks. Will never know what Reliford would have done this year, he easily could have ended up being our best pass rusher but still an unknown. Need a jump from these guys like Swinson and Jones made in 24’.

I assume top OTs are Weston, Strey, the Baylor guy, and Harper if they give him a shot at RT. I still maintain Weston is your starting LT if you miss Seaton. This is assuming he gets a lot better this offseason, but none of the other LT options are ideal on the current roster.

That’s the point. There was no reason for them to post the announcement exactly at 11:59 PM other than to troll Ole Miss.

You have a group of young LBs on the roster you’re really excited about. One in Braker who hopped in that you convinced to come back. IMO, they weren’t planning on going after a LB, but Dottery fell in their laps last minute when his contract stuff at OM blew up. They weren’t going to turn him down, he’s clearly your other starter next to Whit. I think they had him delay so none of the young guys would get pissed and declare last second.
I think Anderson and Geralds are both ready to contribute in their first year. I wouldn’t mind giving Lamar first crack as a jumbo edge and see if he can find his was in the rotation. That’s his first choice.
Wonder if they’re waiting til after midnight to make announcement so none of the young LBs jump in the portal.
If they can fix Weston Davis it wouldn’t shock me to see him at LT. he’s still the most prototypical LT on the roster in terms of size and movement. He was a mess last year but maybe they can get him right.
This is the one I want most of the possibilities still out there, more than Seaton. I know Lane and Weiss don’t need a 1st round LT to have an elite offense. I want Seaton but we’ll be fine either way.

We really need to be able to get home rushing 4, that was the biggest flaw of last year’s D. Princewill hustles his arse off.
In hindsight it’s probably good they got Curne and Lindsay. Lane can go after these guys from OM who jumped in the portal late and they really can’t say shite about tampering.
Princely posted that in November. Lane bumping it tonight feels like a good sign.
He had 9 sacks this season.

Had 1.5 sacks his first two seasons so made a big jump this year. Really need Reliford and Ross to make a similar year 3 jump. Would be awesome to get someone who’s a proven pass rusher.
Same. The issue isn’t the reporter doing his job, it’s the source of the leak.
I think baring some major flaw that got exposed pre-draft, he will go in the Dart-Shough range. Just way more demand than supply. I think he was better this year than Dart ever was. I know he’s small but if he looks like the best player on the field against UGA’s D then I have no reason to doubt he can translate to the NFL. If you can play you can play, he’s a baller. Kinda reminds me of Purdy.
I’m surprised he hasn’t just declared yet. If he sneaks into back of first round or early 2nd he’s getting more guaranteed money than. 1 year NIL bag plus a year sooner towards 2nd nfl contract if he pans out.
LSU has Silicon Valley money. I think they have as much as they need, more a matter of how much they want to spend.

I doubt it. Same defensive staff still in place from 24’.

You expected him to make a jump from 23’ to 24’ season but it seemed his snaps went down and was basically MIA by the end. Not sure if that was BK disciplinary move or Peeples didn’t trust him.

Is he a for sure guard or maybe a guy who gets a shot at RT and slides to guard? I know nothing about him but get the sense he’s one of our best 5 if he comes.
Not sleeping on East Carolina here but I know Toledo is aggressively pushing for a visit and won’t take no for an answer.

Are we all thinking the tiger emoji last night was Longstreet, and the one this morning is still an unknown?
I also think there’s a distinction between guys with proven production who hit the portal vs these guys who are clearly just looking for the biggest bag. Coleman, Heard, Wilson, this OT from Colorado for example. Seems we’re less likely to make a hard push for those guys who immediately list Texas, Oregon and TT for example.

QB would be the exception but even that market will be so different year to year.
