That’s a blown call but not at all was he arguing about player safety. No part of the play was dirty. Saying he was protecting his players is laughable

I think steeples is a really good coach but a large part of that is the high school finally started to recruit again. Talent level went from producing no college prospects to multiple power 5 recruits each year.

Steeples sent a 5 star receiver to notre dame a couple years ago.

Good hire. Young, energetic guy that will kill it recruiting. Many mizzou fans wanted him to fill our open secondary position last off-season. De Smet has been putting out a good amount of talent since he took over. Two four stars in the 2023 class.

St. Louis and kc metros are definitely considered “in-state” for mizzou. Most of the players out of east St. Louis live in Missouri anyway.

Walker, Montgomery, Ford and Jonathan Jones is a great core of freshman DEs. Young looks really good on film too. Losing out on wesolak sucks but DE has the most young depth on the defense.

Again I am not here arguing for cuonzo. I agree that his roster construction is horrendous. I don’t care Braun’s relatives played at mizzou, that should not factor in at all to playing time. There are hundreds of things to complain about with cuonzo and cite as reasons to fire him, why are we focusing on a bad basketball player?

Parker Braun was awful but kc fans have a weird obsession with him. He had some of the slowest lateral quickness I’ve ever seen and was always out of position defensively. He was a walkon for a reason and should have stayed that way.

Vandy’s class is insanely impressive. Their team rating and avg recruit are higher than almost all of our classes under odom.

There aren’t really any bigger fish out there than wesolak. The top guys remaining are gentry Williams, wesolak, jaeden Gould, deone walker, Jeffrey m’ba, and Demetrius hunter. Williams is the only one I’d classify as a bigger fish. Not sure where we stand with those guys but hunter is the only one I feel good about.
