40 min of hell in practice , and then lets forget about defense gamedays, kentucky was the blueprint on how to win :banghead:

great insight, I had to read it a couple of times, but I think I got it.

My question to you is that do you think we need to replace Roach as our DL coach? It seems thats the consensus
i dont mind those tier 1, tier 2 schools. If you have it to spend then by all means spend it. Its the American way.

What gets me is how in the hell is LSU doing all this. Last year they had the #1 portal class, they even said they spent 25 mil.

The buyout, plus new contracts for all of their coaches and they are spending again like crazy this year, another 25 mil.

I cant believe they have that many more wealthy donors than a program like ours.

I may be mistaken , but just dont understand it.
What ever they are doing in practice is wearing these kids down.

We looked so fresh in the Kentucky game, I think that had to do with playing some easy games before them.

With the SEC grind plus his practices we look tired.

Cedarian morgan is that guy. Just wait

I think he will fill the horton, coleman role.

Now we need a jamo type , but cheap and from a small school that no one has heard of. Haha, seriously, a speedster .

Ole Miss' starting QB played D2 last year. Their starting RB was 4th string at Mizzou last year. Their leading receiver was at Penn State for 3 years before this season. Their 2nd best WR was at Oklahoma State the year before. Their 3rd string WR was at Wake.

Ole Miss is absolutely killing it finding guys in the portal. You either have to do that, which saves money, or you can do what OSU and Texas do which is just spent your infinite money to get the best players on paper.

Lane had to do that because he sucks as a recruiter. Easier to buy players even if is for the cheap.

All of you here complaining about the NIL. Cam and his people most likely told BAMA that if you are close to Texas' offer we will give you the home town discount.
That would be great ,but we were not even in the same ballpark.

We have the #2 class in the country, returning some talent.

We still have a roster to fill and now we can look at the FCS kids

Let this play out. I think we might be in good shape next year.

KD is not going to get fired anytime soon, so that's not going to happen. We can't compete with the Texases of the world, their NIL spending is 30-35 mil.

We just have to learn how to play "money ball" get kids that are cheaper and coach them up.

KD does not need to be let go, but the OL,RB, ST coaches need to be gone. Grubbs gets one more year then he needs to go if the offense doesn't improve drastically since we have an offense HC.

At the end of the day I can't and won't get upset about the portal and us not getting big name guys.

Big bank will always beat little bank, and many of you need to accept that we are little bank.
I am just going to put this here , because Chicken is a dumb arse

1st team all pro, best at their position in entire NFL
K Will Reichard
Edge Will Anderson

I will take the 60% this team is a top 10 team historically.

Yeah those 24 year olds just happened to pop up for that team, or was it their game plan. We want to develop talent and see them go into the portal, or pay them to stay and not have money to pay for any one else

We are an abortion of a team when it comes to the LOS,
Looks like we are not going to get the kids we wanted. That's ok, it was going to be an uphill battle with the NC state OT wanting to stay closer to home (respect for not wasting the teams time and resources) and with cam, competing against big oil was going to be hard.
We get some help on both lines and a decent WR, I will have to live with that. No choice in today's landscape.

Wanted to throw this out here. Clint Kubiak is the OC that replaced Grubbs in Seattle and the team has received 5 requests from teams to interview him for a HC position.

So, I guess Seattle has a highly sought after OC.

[quote]know it’s early but I haven’t seen a lot of news about offensive and defensive line prospects visiting. No, not freaking out but I sure hope CKD has a plan to sign 4-5 guys on both sides of the ball from the portal and not crumbs either (no guys who were 3rd team DEs at schools like Temple or Utah State). Need guys who will start from Day One or at least play a lot AND be productive.

Good OL and DL guys in the portal are already committing. I just hope we don’t left out in the cold.[/quote

4-5 on both sides of the ball and not scrubs either.bwahaha!
Dude, you just need a reality check.
WITH WHAT MONEY? that's why the GOAT hung it up , because Ms Terry said what's the point.

You are a delusional fan to have that kind of ask
Many here paid, one way or another for a degree, or paid for their kids, grandkids to get one.

So, no, it does not count. You paid for a service and received one.

Look,.this, all stinks to high heaven.

If you are a school that have billionaires cutting checks, then a kid staying only one yr after getting a big check is no big deal.

But many schools have millionaires that get highly upset(rightfully so)when they cut a big check and that kid leaves after a year. Hard for an Alabama to ask that same millionaire to cut another check for another kid.

KD and Mike Shula have similar speaking style.

These schools are paying their coaches so much money that even the NFL cant compete(or dont want to )

it would be hilarious to see some of these coaches bolt for the NFL
Guys , I am not going to make a new thread, but comparing these past two years. I think Sheridan was a better play caller than Grubbs. The receivers were open, he would adjust based on the opponent like the LSU game. Thoughts?
