Cerakote Question

Guys I traded up for a Kimber Pro Carry (Series 1)and it has a cerakote job. How hard would it be to remove it and get the original stainless look? I'm not saying the cerakote looks bad, it actually looks awesome, but I would like the original finish if possible. If not, oh well, just curious.
