It’s showing in spades now.
He’s getting who he wants and it’s glorious.

Anyone here understand what’s setting us over the top this go round?

Are we simply out bidding everyone?
Is there other mechanisms we don’t know that make our offers more attractive?

Either way, it’s awesome and it feels good to be a tiger.

ACC trying to poach UF & USCe?

Anyone else hear this rumor?
This guy works for 247 but haven’t seen this anywhere else. Doesn’t make sense to leave the SEC.

I’ll take this news over the opposite which is what we lived in for 4 years under Biden.

Making energy cheap really did a number on inflation.
One of the critiques I’ve seen on Lane over the years was his recruiting wasn’t up to par with the SEC top coaches.

Well either that was true and he’s remedied it or it was overblown…

Because we saw Kiffin close on all our ‘26 HS recruits including Lamar and now a massive portal haul with the #1 QB in the pot.

I know money talks, but the dude can close, and he proved it this week. He has to feel even better with his chances now that the has LSU on his shirt.

Very impressed.
I hate this.
Why does some high school kid who can run fast get to pay zero taxes but I have to wake up at the arse crack of dawn to make ends meet for my family and pay taxes.

Stop babying these kids and don’t give the common man the middle finger in process.

Hard to know.
I’m sure Leavitt is also keeping it very close to the vest as to not mess with his bid value.

It’s not like the NFL where CBA and league can demand medical evals.

Yeah I don’t think it’s black and white, look at Toney last night.. insane high rated freshman who took over that game.

Those 5* freaks will always have a place, but you also have great underrated lower level talent as well.

Hope that Kiffin continues to blend the two like he did at OM because I believe that’s the blue print.
You need elite talent for sure. But some of these lower levels guys can be elite as well with good coaching… which we have in spades now.
In this new era, highly touted portal players are unequivocally talented and some with great production to go with it. But they want high dollar and some are already coming with posse’s and drama.

I really hope the trend of getting talented unknown kids from the lower levels continues, because at minimum you get 1 year of them trying to really prove it.

That gives these kids an edge sometimes as they don’t have millions already in their account like their highly ranked counterparts.

I for one am not concerned at all reading Kiffin targeting these kids. I applaud it, because he is a great talent evaluator and these kids will be better team players and buy in if even for just one season.

For instance, if we get Landen from Elon, I’ll be thrilled. Could be Chambliss 2.0 without the price tag.
Agreed.
Their team was exciting to watch this year.
Next year.
Good game OM.
Entertaining game for sure.
Wanted him badly out of high school. Not sure now, I didn’t see much of him this year, but he’s still very talented.
No it will have to break to get fixed.

We know it’s broken, but you would have to have something so completely egregious that fans of other sports pay attention.
It feels like if he telegraphed that he was staying at OM that the NCAA may have more leniency and approve his waiver.

I just never trusted that the NCAA would play ball in a scenario that favored LSU. That never seems to happen.

Hope he goes pro though and leaves OM in the dust.
I think it will take time, but the interest will drop off and they will be forced to do something.

But at the end of the day the NCAA needs laws from Congress so they can even enforce their own rules. Teams can openly cheat now and flip the ncaa off as they do it because they have zero teeth.
Venezuela and Iran in less than a week would be bonkers
So O&G people.. how do we see the immediate reaction to Maduro ousted in the oil market?

Do we expect oil prices to change much?

I understand this affects BRICS countries most here, which is awesome, but just interested on how this changes this years outlook.

Also, do we see big US O&G companies start considering investing capital in Venezuela now that it’s not a port for China, Russia, Iran?
Is it pronounced Steff-ill-Ann?
What a strange name

But if he can ball out for us, I don’t give a damn what we call him.

Are we to claim any strike on a country a war now?

So did Obama go to war with Syria?

Are we at war with Iran?

What about all the strikes in Africa over the years… we at war with any of them?

Precision Strikes =/= War

So sick of this narrative from never trumpers and liberals.

Did we go to war with Iran? No.. in fact shite has been much more in check over there since our strikes.

We aren’t going to war with a country when a very large % of the population is literally in the streets cheering and celebrating our strike.

This was Don dragging his nuts again on the world stage. Do I want to nation build? No obviously not, but people forgot that their oil production was possible from us and Chavez literally stole it from us. We have the right to it back. Plus, any disruption to the cartels is very good for the USA. We are already seeing OD rates dropping since Trump policies have taken place.
