5 hits today. Another series loss. I wouldn't be surprised if they get swept tomorrow.
LSU batters 18 Ks in 2 games so far vs A&M
Time is running out to make the post season.
They are 6-11 in conference and to make the post season with 14 SEC wins they have to win 8 out of the last 13 SEC games. They would have to go 8-5 or better over those 13 gams and I don't see that happening.

through 5 innings LSU had a whopping THREE hits..............you are not winning in the SEC hitting like that. Much less winning when the team can't do much to play competitive baseball.

Jay along with most coaches absolutely HATE in game interviews.
A&M has the best offense in SEC right now which means one of the best if not the best offenses in the nation

6-10 in SEC play right now, need to get to 14 wins to make the field of 64, so you have to win 8 of the last 14 to get to 14 wins (.571 winning percentage) Time is slowing running out to get conference wins. With a series at Georgia and at Mississippi State remaining, we will see. The two remaining series at home are SC and Florida and Florida has been getting hot. Really needed a series win this weekend, and for sure don't need to get swept.
yes, I know you can sometimes makes the post season with 13-17 conference record, but not sure 13 will get you in this year
