4 Fridays from today LSU baseball starts and I should be at The Box for opening day and get to see the new 2025 National Championship flag flying at Champion's Circle. I am ready.

For the upcoming 2026 season, a new rule takes effect, allowing teams to start practice even earlier: 35 days before opening day.
yes, players are working out already on their own, but "official" practices have not started
LSU has stated "official" practice begins 1-12-2026
2025 rules spring practice was 21 days before season and 18 practices, and then 2026 changed to 35 days before season and 27 practices

Baseball teams greatly improve from early Feb to May.
I am not worried about the early season schedule. It is all about reps and getting work in.
