Surely LSU can do better than NC State with NIL money.

He could have support from former McNeese people who are at LSU now.

The one who fired him, against popular opinion, got his arse runned oft.

It could be a triumphant return and a giant FU to Scott Woodward.

I could see it happening.

I just spit coffee on my keyboard.
Hell I feel pretty much the same way about all those things you list, just moving from Louisiana to north Mississippi.
Man I badly wanted a set of clackers when I was a kid but my parents flatly refused.

The word on the street was if you left them in the window in the sun they would burn your house down.

I played with my friends' whenever they would let me.

What in the hell was so mesmerizing about those things?

Tack Minor in female form

That’s a good one; I was thinking she’s a female Eric Gaines.

Streaks of brilliance combined with WTF moments as well.

Just about as likely to be a liability as she is an asset.
One thing I’ve noticed is they cannot get away with the sloppy forced passes against real competition.

It worked against all the little sister teams but that crap won’t play nationally.
I was there! Had seats halfway up in the upper deck so probably would have had a better view on TV but I wasn’t missing it.

I think I may have shed a tear or two at the end. Because being a Tiger fan back then, it just seemed like a national championship was never gonna happen, it felt like it was just out of LSU’s class. Then there it was - national championship. Never thought I would see it.

Somehow it still seems more special than the ones that followed, although I sure as hell wouldn’t give them back!

Then I think about the state of the game today when I have just about lost all interest. A pity.

re: That loss reminded me of Kyle Macy

I was there. I was in high school, went with my brother and his girlfriend.

He was only able to get two tickets.

But he was a student manager or something at the Union and knew the ones who worked the Assembly Center.

He had me and his girlfriend go in the ticket entrances while he went down and a buddy of his let him in somewhere on the ground floor. He came and met us and sat in the seat and his girlfriend sat on his lap the whole game.

It was extremely tense for me the whole time.

Went into overtime. When Sam Bowie missed the front end of a one and one LSU went into the old Dale Brown 4 Corners.

I couldn't hardly stand it.

Finally Sam Bowie tied up Greg Cook on a five second call and then won the tip with about 30 seconds left.

Then Kyle Macy ended it.

What a game, I will never forget. I think the non-wood floor they had back then was cool.

Kirby is such a Drama Queen he makes me sick.

Great dramatic gut-wrenching loss.

Couldn't happen to a better guy!

I was there last season to see Ole Miss beat Georgia in Oxford.

Lovin' it.
Very very sad.

I'm sure the guy was excited about his new pistol and had no intention to kill a woman with it on Christmas day.

But he killed this woman through criminal negligence. Inarguable and careless violation of Rule 4.

There needs to be consequences.

We had leftover turducken last Friday and Saturday and then we scraped out all the dressing and wife made a pot of gumbo with the rest.

Man it was good. I may look forward to that more than anything else.

A shitty disappointing season but it has been worth it to jettison Burger King’s worthless arse.
My daughter and I have gotten where we enjoyed watching the Pop Tarts bowl together the last couple years.

I was hatching a plan to surprise her with a couple of tickets for today but then she went and scheduled her first CPA exam in a couple of weeks.
Where was this? My father-in-law grew up as I mentioned at Delacroix Island, these superstitions were widespread with the old-timers in the 80s and early/mid 90s.

FIL told me that was always the deal with all the families as far back as anyone could recall.

Is it ok if I bring bananas? Seriously like who started that shite because I don’t think i know of anyone who cared unless it was a pallet of bananas!!

Old old fisherman's superstition.

My Delacroix Isleno father-in-law would not allow any bananas on his trawler, and most of the others I got to know down there wouldn't either. Now this was a long time ago, 1980s-90s.

He also would never begin a trip on a Tuesday. Never.
It's not that hard to drive without hitting a pole.

It is easy to hit a pole if the driver is drunk, or methed up, or texting on their phone.

In the end, like most things, it comes down to simple human stupidity.
Talented. Beautiful. Irish.

Checked all my boxes.

A damn shame.
It's your Christmas, you can have as many as you want!
