1. STM (beat Catholic head to head. When...what the score was...doesn't matter)

2. Catholic Beat 4 of the top 10 teams in the state (Brother Martin, Rummel, Byrd, Acadiana) Played two more and only lost by 4 points combined.

3. Acadiana (only loss to catholic)

4. Carencro (didn't beat enough big teams to be higher and lost to STM by more than Catholic)

5. Rummel (truth be told, the qfinal game with Catholic was de facto D1 State title game. And it was a doozy)
Wrong Herman Johnson. Not the LSU player's kids.

Hear anything from .23 to.25 for an adjustment to hand times but the shorter the distance, the less accurate that conversion becomes. So...doing it for a 40yd dash is not exactly accurate. Works much better for hand times on things like 100M. The conversion is more accurate then.
Kid still has another year of high school ball to play...that could be really scary.

LSU Beer Sales at Games?

"As we talk about the fan experience, which is very important, I think there may come a day that we may sell beer at college events at LSU," Alleva said when asked about the possibility. "I think at some point — I don't know if it will be five years from now, 10 years from now — but I think at some point, I think it's going to happen."
Positives:
1. Appears to have a college frame
2. A lot of upside as he looks very raw

Areas to improve:
1. Flexibility
2. Flexibility
3. Pad level
4. Twitch (ability to uncoil out of his stance with explosive power)
5. Fundamental footwork
6. Agility

You can send him to all the college camps you want, but there is one camp for Offensive Linemen that is the best in the country. It won't help him get recruited in that it will get him exposure, but no camp will help him improve on all the areas I just mentioned more than this one. It should be your number 1 priority this summer. Bottom line is that he can go to all the camps in the world but he has to put some skill on tape in games this year.

There must be 5 players with non-eligible numbers on the field for the offense as long as they are not in a traditional punt formation. SO...OL can only wear #'s 50-79.
D. Warren is a good dude. One of the few of those types that has the kids' best interest in mind. Very helpful and a very knowledgeable and stand up guy.

For what it's worth

Pacino in DA & it's not even close

Who are you carrying all those brick for?

I've always wondered if Pacino seemed like such a superior actor in that movie just because he was next to the worst actor of all time for the entire movie??

Still...The best depiction of the devil in any movie.
I've been a reader of the site for a while without a profile. Got one not long ago and made my first post. Was scared everyone would rake me over the coals. This guy definitely takes the pressure off of others like me.
Liggins was from Laf in MS that is correct. But that's a 4A school not 5A and in MS 4A is equal to 3A in Louisiana program and school wise. So I wouldn't call Laf a "big program"
Public more than private isn't always the case. I know some of the LA Private schools pay more than their public school counterparts.

Also factors that determine this are:

Master's Degree?
Years Experience?
Head or Assistant?
Location?

All in all...I'd say the AVERAGE for this would be around 40 with some as little as 35 and others as high as 65 or 70 depending on years, degree level, and head coaching experience in Louisiana.

Can't say for other states.
No problem with it until one conflicts with the other and you can't keep up your commitment to one of the teams. At that point, it's forcing you or your son to determine which is more important and it also sends a message to his teammates that there are other teams more important to him than that team. To me, it's more a question of can you be 100% committed to both without having to choose between the two. Practices and games. Doesn't matter.

Also of note, the NCAA has raised the academic standards for a kid transferring from a JUCO to a D1 school. There is more to it now than just getting an associate's degree.

Prep school is for one year only and doesn't use a year of the athlete's eligibility. JUCO (if the athlete doesn't have the grades out of high school) is for two years. After JUCO an athlete can have 3 years to play 2. Not everyone can go to prep school and it is usually extremely expensive and not much scholarship money available. Prep school (from an athletic standpoint) is basically for an athlete that had the grades in his classes but needed to up his ACT or SAT score. Football wise, the quality of football at JUCO is generally better. MS JUCO is probably the highest quality of them all and is one of the biggest leagues with 14 teams.
anyone have any luck calling ATT and telling them you are going to switch to T-Mobile and let them pay the fee so you can get a new phone and then ATT let you upgrade on the spot? Thinking about the T-Mobile switch anyway...

Call Durst Canoe Rentals...they don't have the Cabins but they can def point you in the right direction. There are also some cabins at the union of the Buffalo and the White River in Buffalo City.

We canoe the Buffalo every year. Do it in three days and camp on the river. Awesome trip!
I have this EXACT same problem. Same carrier and all. You can just buy one of those Nexus phones and put the sim card in and you are good to go??

I put gutters on the house about 3 years ago. While I was renting it they never got cleaned out so I'm sure that the clogged gutters contributed to the water damage in different areas. Cleaned them all out now and they are working well. The foundation repair work that I had done was supposed to help ventilate the house better underneath. I think it has helped but I also found a leak under the house recently from the kitchen and wash room. Essentially every time for 3 years someone washed the dishes or washed clothes, that water went straight under the house. Sure that didn't help either.

Home is on piers in S. Louisiana.
Lots of things that I can't do myself. I'm not the handiest of people. Replaced the roof a while back but there is water damage in a few places with wood paneling and sheet rock. Also cracks in the walls around door frames from foundation shifting. I had foundation work done a few years ago and they got the house level, but I'm assuming that it just settled back where it used to be and that caused the cracks in the walls etc. I had been renting the house for 3 years and am now moving back in. Also needs some bathroom remodeling and a new outside deck/patio area. Need some old yellow tile on the walls in the kitchen removed. Some doors don't close properly. Needs a new hot water heater. I think that about does it for the major repairs.
The clip of him catching that kid in the air then slamming him to the ground is pretty impressive.

Have a house that is in need of a lot of repairs. Need help on where to start. Do I call a general contractor? If so, who are some ones you would recommend?

Been a fan of TD for a while, just never posted before. Thanks for the help.
