I don't post often, Ha! but it's gets old seeing this kid get bashed. He works his behind off doing something the rest of us only dream we could. Is he a perfect MLB, not even close, but he's obviously the best choice.

"I know I'm getting old, but is it somewhat disturbing to everybody that the "brains" of our defense had to sit out a year for academics. " Welter took and passed every class his acedemic advisor told him he needed to stay eligible. The acedemic advisor was wrong, and subsequently fired. Welter wasn't the only kid that year that had to sit out. There were 4 or 5 others, but the only kid everyone remembers is Welter.
