New York City built one in the city and did not disrupt traffic.
I suggest the Louisiana Department of Transportation or someone take the time to explore this method of crossing the Mississippi River at Baton Rouge.

It still needs regulations and based on recent history it likely will be extremely limited in scope.
I love the library system here. I think the millage should be set to maintain, not expand. This proposal goes too far with capital improvements.

Having been in in both downtowns in the past year, Austin was worse to me. Particularly that the scary parts extend to the doorsteps of many of major hotels/conference centers.
