Does this actually end Defense contracting lobbying? My interpretation is it says they can't distribute dividends if it means they cant provide the supply needed for the new war budget that they are going for. More of a ramping up for war, am I interpreting this incorrectly?

he was a 5 star on rivals coming out of highschool. Which was a top 25 player at the time I believe,,not exactly under the radar.

Let’s be real, NATO is the US. It’s a point of leverage in the European countries for the US. Denmark doesn’t have have any ability to shape NATO besides leaving it which they won’t do, long term at least.

Our ol was filled with underclassmen. That is a recipe for disaster but you typically you don’t cut loose freshmen and sophomores. That said half of the NCAA is in the portal right now so any pre conceived notions of how college rosters are built and maintained is probably out the window.

I tend to disagree. We were a heisman qb away from making a playoff IMO. If you bring in 3 top Ol ( with Moore at C and Curne as weakest link at g and a new guard and two top tackles) in addition to a heisman qb we would likely have won a championship. That’s 4 players /two positions. The defense was good enough, the offensive play calling was not good enough but a good enough qb can cover that IMO. The team didn’t require a total rebuild Imo.

Been living under a rock I guess but there's a lot of guys who were in the 2 deep on that transfer list, more than I thought there would be with such a big name coaching hire. What's the odds Kiffin can pull off the complete roster rebuild in one portal cycle and field a competitive team next year?
Good post but I dont think worrying about g5's roster retention should be a major consideration.

Venezuela has the largest Oil reserves in our hemisphere. Chavis nationalized the oil and kicked out international corporations. Meduro followed in his footsteps. The blockade and now strikes is fundamentally about them not paying tribute to the empire in a modern sense.

Being told you are going to have to take a paycut and that you should hit the road are two different things IMO. Alot of the guys were highly ranked coming out of highschool so they probably have an inflated NIL deal.

You mean we are going to infuse the entire team with portal talent? Yeah I can see a major overhaul at most positions as well.

I’m not really sure what JJ’s position should be, he doesn’t look explosive enough to be a game breaking back and he looks more like a division 2 qb in arm strength and accuracy. Maybe a possession type WR if he bought in and worked on his craft but I think he will likely get passed up at RB with some transfers kiffen brings in and eventually transfer out.

Honestly screw ole miss but I’m not really a huge fan of stealing all their coaches and players. It kinda takes the fun out of college football when there’s no loyalty at all. I’m sure no one wants to admit it but the fear that in the current environment something similar could eventually happen to us is there. I would probably stop following college football if it did.

Nuss and the wide receivers weren't good enough. Too many drops, fumbles, interceptions at key moments. I dont hate any of them but if we want to get back into contention we need better play out of all the offensive positions.

I think the more important thing is they actually looked pretty good. There's a lot more season left obviously but this definitely the most athletic/best looking team we've seen since Wade was fired.
Tua during that NC game and trevor lawrence had a good freshman year from what I remember. Those two are what brought in the era of unrealistic expectations for freshman QB's IMO. As to Underwood, he looked legit to me for a freshman QB, but maybe there are better qb' s for cheaper? I haven't evaluated all the potentially available QB's in the NCAA but hopefully Kiffen's crew does.
Unionization is typically a response to the hiring authority having or perceived as having too much power in the employer/employee relationship. Thus collective bargaining/unions would be an evolution after some kind of broad NCAA wide contract/salary cap implementation.
