Bama will be fine, they got a favorable home schedule. They probably lose to LSU but they'll beat everyone else. It just depends on what Saban wants to do after the season.
Auburn always finds a way to claw back to being relevant, which is impressive considering most teams just fall off the face of the earth (looking at you Tennessee).

I think Auburn made an awful choice with this Harsin guy though, and it's going to set them back five years at least I predict.
As a Georgia fan, Cochran's presence on the program has always been a little strange to me.

We get the guy thinking he's going to be a visible, vocal part of the program but you never heard anything about the guy from players, or even recruits.

I honestly forgot he coached for us until now really. I hope all is well with him.

To be honest, his energy level just isn't sustainable for a normal human being and I wonder if that has anything to do with what's going on. For what it's worth, Dean Legge mentioned this is not the first time Cochran has been away from the program I believe.

Yea I seem to remember Hugh Freeze doing something at Ole Miss a few years ago...can't quite remember what it is.
Another example of how insane the SEC fanbase is. Tennessee fan, a TENNESSEE fan being like "yea Kirby kinda sucks" even though we absolutely kick the shite out of you every single season and bring in top 4 recruiting classes. Yeah, Kirby can't coach lol

happens ALL the time, ESPN personalities think they're bigger than the network and then they're completely forgotten about. Ask Bill Simmons, or any of those Sportscenter guys if they regret leaving.

Maria will probably regret this move. Anyone heard from Erin Andrews lately? They got "better" jobs but not really.

If we are being honest, how many schools on this list would trade their current coach for Kirby? Not Arkansas, not Missouri, and maybe not Vandy

So you're telling me those schools don't want to consistently pull in top three recruiting classes, win SEC Championships, win a rose bowl and come within one play of a national championship? Hmm...
He'd do about as well as Saban did at Michigan St.

Comparing both Pickens and Gilbert's 40 times, they both apparently ran a 4.7 in high school.

Being brought in to play receiver, very interesting

Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You'll be the next Tennessee, be thankful it ever happened cause it ain't happening again. You don't have the resources, in-state talent and the ACC will wake up eventually.

You sound like you pull for a loser who's upset they haven't won a thing since 1980.

This "1980" thing is so silly. FSU won a chip in 2013, so by your logic they are a better program than UGA because they won a natty recently right? Who cares how long ago it was, it's all about consistency and where a program is at NOW.

and NOW, we have a better team than BAMA with a more experienced QB.

Based on what....A bowl win over Cincinatti?

When has a Bowl Cut coached team ever come out an "throttled" a team with similar talent?

Clemson fans please stop, you're delusional. You know damn well your program is on borrowed time. You've had a good run but in 5 years you'll be at Florida State's level. You can't sustain the program as it is. Your recruiting classes are slipping and Miami and FSU are going to wake up eventually.

You'll be the next Tennessee, a once great program with an unlikely period but you can never get back to that level.

See, Alabama has a history of Championships, unlike UGA. The school expects to be there and we'll fight until we are. We don't settle for a bunch of empty preseason hype and failure season after season

UGA is championship caliber while also being one of the best state schools in the entire country.
Saban gonna retire soon.

THE

GATORS

I know what I saw, Florida was really the only team that could've beaten Bama last year and probably should have. They had no answers for Toney, Pitts and Trask.

Not Alabama.

Ohio State roasted his arse in the semifinals.

Remind me again what Jamarr Chase did to you guys a few seasons ago?

Kadarius Toney roasted you in the SEC Championship. Florida would've won if not for a heads-up play by Metchie.

Yea, I think Saban would take an ALL-ACC 1st team defensive back.
Because he's clearly a knucklehead at times, he has two kids, got in trouble at Clemson and now has a gun charge. If that doesn't concern you somewhat then I'm not sure you're paying attention to the right things. Kirby himself has said locker room chemistry is important and all it takes is one bad apple to throw the throw the whole thing off.

Not trying to judge the kid hard considering I don't know him but the facts of his life do raise an eyebrow.

Don’t ask questions, we need a plug and play CB and Kendrick gives us that for at least the early part of our schedule so Ringo can grow into the role.

That's what I'm thinking, if he can help us win the Clemson game then that will give us the space to let our other DB's get better during the season.

Don't call it the "Fulmer Cup" for nothing

Derion Kendrick expected to choose UGA

Wasn't he arrested on a gun charge a couple months ago? I'm confused how this works.

Regardless, Kirby is giving every indication he doesn't trust what we have in the secondary, or at least the depth. I don't know how I feel about this move, the kid seems to have been in some trouble in the past.
If he was good enough to play Championship caliber football he would've stayed.
Alabama fans just trying to soften the blow when Saban does retire very soon. They know once he's gone Alabama will go back to being the absolute open sewer its always been.
BAMA your coach is a fossil and your program is on the downswing. It's all very fragile at the moment. Your best moment has passed.
I'm a little surprised he fell to 11 as well, and it's not an ideal situation for him. He's going to be the starter up there and thrown into the fire.

I'm surprised Mac Jones went in the first round. As usual with BAMA QB's, they have the best of everything. Jones isn't going to have the best anything (besides coach) when he goes up to New England. Taking a BAMA QB in the first round is always a stupid idea.

They're used to throwing to wide open receivers behind a dominant O-Line and etc.
I love the LSU fans chiming in. Your athletic program is the most corrupt program in the entire country and your team was a flat out joke last year.

It's only a matter of time til we get a Natty.

Other than Bama, all of you other SEC fanbases would LOVE to be in our shoes. Bringin in 5 stars all over the place.

We're better than BAMA this year and we wouldn've beat them last year if JT was healthy for that game.
Nice pickup for Heupel, Milton is a physical specimen. I was actually pretty scared he was going to Florida and a little surprised he didn't actually go play for Mullen. I think Mullen would've had Cam Newton 2.0 with Milton.

Regardless, I think Heupel will be able to do some things with him as well. If he can iron out those accuracy issues then I think Milton has a chance to do some damage.

Joe Milton to Tennessee

I honestly wouldn't mind the SEC adopting what the Ivy League does. During the season they don't live tackle at practice and in the spring it's very limited when it comes to full contact.
