Phoenix update - Rebel’s dominated the airport today. No joke, half the people had on Ole Miss gear. We’re at a hotel in Chandler and there were a dozen unrelated parties of Rebs checking in. I could count the Miami fans I’ve seen on two hands.

Things I don’t remember from last night: making posts on tRant and drunkenly deciding I’m taking the fam to Phoenix next week. At least I was coherent enough to log in and use miles for the flight and hotel, now I just have to figure out how to afford the game tickets…

At the time, LSU was the #4 team in the country, stacked with talent including a QB expected to be in NYC for the Heisman, and $95mm coach playing with his players after a few years of recruiting. Y’all were the best team in Louisiana until we absolutely fricking broke you and the wheels fell off.

I was planning on it, but decided to postpone the Oxford trip until I can take my son to see the city and family since we haven’t been able to make it back in a few years. It‘s going to be a madhouse and I’m afraid if we go, it’ll literally just be in and out to see the game while costing an arm and a leg. Instead, we’re going to make the NOLA trip, assuming we don’t choke…
