Something I've been thinking about

Is it too late in the season for Brandon Harris to become a Heisman candidate?

*Implying he does well enough.

Oh and do you think Jennings will continue being a QB? Remember when Russell Shepard moved to receiver?

That's a scary thought. The big ten doesn't deserve to have a team in the playoffs.

We'll see how Nebraska vs Michigan State goes haha. I'm not a fan of any team outside the SEC, but some good friends of mine are from Nebraska, so I like to pull for them in the Little 10. If they win tomorrow @ Mich St, they'll have my vote (if they win out) to be in the playoffs). Nebraska is the only team in the B1G that I think deserves a spot (as of now)

Delgado Flag-Football?

Posted by rambeaux504 on 10/2/14 at 12:17 am
I was interested in playing some organized football even if it's just flag football... Haven't played since the middle school days (lead the team to an undefeated season my 8th grade year).. I would love to play some football again. Start slinging the ball again. Miss it. Delgado Intramurals

Best LSU Stories?

Posted by rambeaux504 on 10/1/14 at 10:55 pm
I'm 18, born and raised an LSU fan... Unlike a Bama fan, it wasn't forced down my throat growing up. I was just introduced to LSU and fell in love on my own. I love reading crazy gameday stories. Especially back before we were a top 25 team year round. Back before people did things just for publicity. Before everything had to be politically correct and having fun was a bad thing.

SEC West vs East

It's not a big deal, but couldn't we move Auburn to the SEC east and Missouri can join the west? Just for geographical reasons.

December 1, 2001 LSU vs Auburn

Posted by rambeaux504 on 10/1/14 at 10:23 pm
December 1, 2001: LSU defeats Auburn 27-14 to clinch the SEC West division championship and its first berth in the SEC Championship Game. Auburn is penalized before the game for jumping on the Eye of the Tiger decoration at midfield. Kicking off from the 50-yard line, LSU successfully executes an onside kick and scores a touchdown on the ensuing drive. The game is originally scheduled for September 15, but it is postponed by the September 11 attacks.

Remember 2011 vs Oregon when Mike the Tiger had camo on? He should bring it back.. With a rifle and shoot that Eagle.

re: All-LSU Team?

Posted by rambeaux504 on 10/1/14 at 4:34 pm to
That's out of our hands for the most part. Let the team do their job and we can look back on the legends that have come from this school. With the young talent on the current squad, I'm sure in 20 years, a current player will make it onto a similar list.

Fun Fact of the Year

1907 - LSU becomes first American college football team to play on foreign soil in the 1907 Bacardi Bowl against the University of Havana on Christmas Day in Havana, Cuba.

re: All-LSU Team?

I'm a youngster, so I'll just use players in the past few decades. Or legendary players (Such as Billy Cannon)
Offense:
QB- This is tough. Bert Jones, Matt Mauck or Matt Flynn? I think I'll go with Bert Jones
HB- Billy Cannon without hesitation
FB- Jacob Hester
Receivers- Dwayne Bowe, Josh Reed
RT- Andrew Whitworth
RG- Alan Faneca
C- Kevin Mawae
LG- Sid Fournet
LT- Eric Andolsek

Defense:
Glenn Dorsey, Anthony McFarland, Marcus Spears and Chuck Wiley on the DL.

Warren Capone, Al Richardson and Bradie James at LB

Patrick Peterson and Morris Claiborne at CB

Tommy Casanova (no brainer) and I would say LaRon Landry without hesitation..... Debating on The Honey Badger... Okay, Honey badger can be the back up.

Special Teams:
Kicker- Colt David
Punter- Josh Jasper
Kick/Punt Returner- I'll choose a few to rotate... Tyrann Mathieu, Skyler Green and Billy Cannon

All-LSU Team?

Posted by rambeaux504 on 10/1/14 at 11:18 am
I'm new to this forum. I'm sure this has probably been posted before. But if you had to pick 25 players (11 defense, 11 offense, Kicker, Punter and a Kick/punt returner). and for poops and giggles, you can have some back ups and some current players. Let's geaux!

Offense:
QB-
HB-
FB-
Receivers-
RT-
RG-
C-
LG-
LT-
*You can substitute a fullback for an extra Running back or receiver.

Defense:
Since defense can vary depending on your scheme,
Choose 4 DL-
And your choice of linebackers/DBs.

Special Teams:
Kicker-
Punter-
Kick/Punt Returner-

re: Do we have to win out?

Posted by rambeaux504 on 9/30/14 at 8:34 pm to
If we go 10-2, I'm going to say without hesitation...
National Champions next year!

The fact that this squad is so young and inexperienced is a huge disadvantage... And playing in the toughest Division in the nation (6/7 of the teams are in the top 15)... 10-2 or even 9-3 would be awesome. If we happen to win a NC this season, we'll repeat

CALLING IT

Do we have to win out?

Posted by rambeaux504 on 9/29/14 at 12:40 pm
In order to stay alive for the CF Playoffs, do you think we HAVE to win out? I think we can survive one more SEC loss, implying our other SEC West foes lose as well.

There's always next year I guess.
