Yes. Injuries can and will happen . Mentioned earlier I think LSU had 14 WR last year . Don’t think we can make that many happy but we need at least 4 more IMO

May be lower and money wise but hell 3 RBS may not get you through fall camp. LSU carried around 14 WRs last year , lost most of them , and has signed that many more . We may not need 14 but you sure can’t get through 3 and 4 WR formations with 6 available

Yep. Started going to Games as a kid in the 70s. Not knocking anyone but several are from early 2000s til now it seems . The streak to Tennessee bout did me in :casty:
I would say very few of these guys these days select a school on “scheme”, “culture “ development” even though they use those buzzwords like the nation used during Covid :lol:

Has coached Bama for 2 years . Just like Saban’s accomplishments compared to Bryant’s days were different, so is the landscape in CFB now . Just being in the hunt for championships is successful to me even though I want to win them. I knew the days post Saban would be rough on many :lol:

Tuscaloosa News article said we were paying Ty 400k and he got 800k after incentives … and Formby getting 1.7M from A&M :lol:. We definitely got a bargain this year

Oregon has 3 DL that just entered the portal plus FSU and UNC with big DT players in there … hopefully we can get one of them

Thank you . Kinda have to choose one or the other or a blend of the two . The Texas schools , Oregon , Miami , UM, OSU definitely have an advantage . Hell they have enough rich boosters to divide up the 2/3 players per donor . I would be concerned if we were #27 in recruiting and then couldn’t pull effectively from the portal . Frustrating but other schools are facing the same problem . It will work out for them but just imagine LSU. Whole new team and don’t have a QB yet .

The man just played for and SECC, won 11 games , has the #2 recruiting class coming in, and made the CFB playoffs and won a game in year 2 . I would call that competing pretty well. He should have taken the Michigan or Penn State job.
Oats lost tonight to one of the worst teams in the league at home . Has lost two in a row . Guess we need to fire his arse too while we are at it .
