4000 yards over the course of 12 games is 333ypg passing or 13 games is 307 ypg. There has been 8 QBs in the history of the SEC to do that. None in 2022. But it is standard. How do some of you remember to breath?

Your old school logic doesn't hold merit in todays game with the amount of money involved sitting and the transfer portal.
That being said - Walker Howard will have one year here and move on ... or move on via the transfer portal if he doesn't get his shot.
any 5* recruit would be foolish to stay with any program not starting them consistently in their 2nd year. Any program would be foolish to think they have a monopoly on players... especially with LSU and quarterbacks.
SO - 2nd year starter or they have he qb position for 1 year and start over again with a new player.
Personally, Id rather have Howard started this year and get his lumps out of the way. At least receivers would be more inclined to come to BR with the promise of being thrown the ball.
so guy - with your theory the best LSU could ever hope for is a 1 year starter or miraculous transfers.

Actually no… with jd on the field it’s feast or famine… as in nobody feasts unless he does first. When he’s shite nobody else has a chance on offense.
Football 101: defense will stack the box (see aTm) when a qb fails to present a credible deep threat. Even the tv commentators said as much as the pointed it out again and again and again.
If Perkins hadn’t bailed out jd against Arkansas then we’d be a 4 loss team.
