I was talking about people who make a difference in their community, the ones you don't hear about. The ones whose voices won't be heard over the media's need for a story

Proud of my legacy, proud of those that came before us and after us. Proud of those I see working hard to make a difference. As a member of an African American Fraternity, I see the good in us all the damn time.
And I'll be damned if I see some old white men, who don't know a damn thing about being black in this country, insult and demean us and not say one fricking word about it

Because, believe it or not some narrow minded individuals have preconceived notions of a person bc of the color of their skin. Which means nothing done that person can will be considered acceptable by that person. I was a calling one of those individuals by insulting him. See.

People who say they see no race are dumb as hell. You may not see race but everyone around you does.
You saying you see no race is good and all, but that won't stop that manager in the high end store from sending an associate to keep an eye on u as you browse.
Seeing no race won't stop that cop from being curious as to why you have such a nice car and pulling you over to check for drugs.
It's dumb. I don't want want race taken out of it because it is apart of it. Whether people want to see it or not

Honestly, it was series of books called The Animorphs. It stoked my love of nature and set me on my career path.
