He’s perfect for a Kiffin offense.

Clearly Kiffin doesn't see it that way since he was processed. If Kiffin wanted him he wouldn't be in the portal.

:geauxtigers:
Well at least he’s taking in some decent basketball, because that shite on the Men’s side the last 4 years is depressing.

Then next week we can cherry pick the rest of portal.

Remember the work in the portal doesn’t have to be done by next week. Next week the portal closes only to those wanting to get in it. The other 5,000 kids in it still have until July to find a home.
He’s already produced WAY more than the Penn St kid. Penn State kid is all projection because of potential but has done nothing. I’ll take the SEC kid that’s actually done it already in the best conference in America.

Clearly you didn’t pick up on my sarcasm.
I would prefer Leavitt, Longstreet, & the Elon QB all signed to LSU by this weekend! You asked!

Yeah because after all you’re only good enough or worth a shot if you currently play at a big name school.
Every one else sucks.
Rankings clearly don’t matter, never did, Indiana says hello. Hell, LSU had the number 1 portal class last year and went 7-6.

It depends on which recruiting service you look at. On 247 we are ranked #10. It’s all a crap shoot.

Really hope there are some db’s and safeties. Did y’all not watch the bowl game?

Yeah I watched. I watched our Defense without its Top 6 players who opted out. Included in that number were our best Safety who is getting drafted early, and our best CB who will be a 1st Round pick.
You’re on the money with Matt Mauck. I will say though in 2003 his mobility & explosiveness were much different than prior to his injury. Prior to his injury he was a real threat to hurt Defenses with his legs. I was at the Swamp in 2002 the night we kicked Florida’s arse and he got hurt with 7 mins left in the 4th quarter. If he doesn’t get hurt we not only win the West but a great chance at finishing in the Final 4 that year. Him getting hurt really derailed that season. LSU was 6-1 after that Florida game, finished 8-5 with a loss to Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

107 total tackles this year. That’s crazy for a safety

Good indicator that their front 7 wasn’t very good and he had to clean things up or save a lot of plays. Unless he was the 7/8 fitter in the box that played close to the LOS.

A+m will tell you they are the richest of the rich.

Texas A&M has more Fortune 500 company CEO’s or owners than any other University by a lot.

Kinda crazy a kid with an arm like that gets absolutely no FBS attention. Honestly some of it falls on his HS coaches. They should be helping him get looks

Being a coach myself, I take offense to this ignorant arse statement. The overwhelming majority of high school coaches and not just head coaches, market their kids. The portal has killed opportunities for high schoolkids since Covid. Less high school kids are signing and many really good players are being left without opportunities or going to lower levels because of the portal, I’ve seen it first hand dozens & dozens of times.
Which is why when I listen to him I speed it up to 1.8-2.0 and fast forward thru all the shout out commercial crap. Moves through things pretty quickly doing it that way.
Georgia is the SEC’s best chance. Ole Miss doesn’t have the defense to hold up.
Good points, multiple things can be true at the same time as well.

In my opinion the portal is showing its affects on offense in college football. With all these guys going to different places each year it really affects the continuity and flow of the offenses because Defense always installs, and comes together much faster than offenses do. The longer Offenses can stay together the better chance they have at being special.

He throws off his back foot every time I’ve seen him throw. His drops look awful, like a bad high school QB drop.
