The rule is that he has to sit out an academic year. He is a smart kid. He will be eligible by August. Keep an eye on Oregon. Ducks may want kiffin by December.

Remember that Saban will to put his young qbs in impossible situations (in practice) to see how they will react. He did this to AJ in 2009. I am sure they threw the kitchen sink at BB and CB and like how they handled themselves. Bama will be OK. This defense is going to be absolutely sick.

Just shows were we are as a society. These kids are suggesting that they are victims. It was just two generations ago that people took great risks to give them the opportunity. I would personally compare football players to Rock stars, not slaves.

I just turned 49. Black students actually sued the University of Alabama for the Right to play football during my life time. They even named Bear Bryant as a defendant. May have been his idea, because he was in a political war with Wallace, but it happened.

Check out Colombia. Most doctors and dentists are US trained. The exchange rate is incredible now too.

You are under the impression that top coaches will be interested in the Bama job. They won't. Nobody wants to follow a legend. Dabo may turn it down. Next coaching search will be harder than most think.

I think this one is deeper, faster and more versatile. This defense can stop up tempo spread teams as well as power teams. Both had great leadership. Going into this NC game, I would rather have 2015.

Shula and Fran were Catholics too. Bama's last 3 coaches were Catholic. (Not sure about Price). He did believe in Destiny so he was probably spiritual.

You do realize that Mobile, AL was the first capital of French Louisiana? Tons of Catholics down here. It was Mobile businessmen who brought Mardi Gras to New Orleans.

I didn't like Saban much when he was at LSU.
In just 2 seasons, Kiffin has produced the best single season Passer, Receiver, and Rusher in Bama's history. Bama has been playing since 1892. Pretty amazing.

Following a legend is hard. Following a legend at Alabama is even harder. Coaches will not line up to take the job no matter what money is offered. Alabama has a bad track record in this department, and it is well known. Alabama would be very lucky to land Dabo to succeed Saban.

Dabo. He is an alumni and former player. He has the desire and energy. Following Saban will be the hardest job in football. I saw what it did to Ray Perkins in the 80s (following Bear). That was before social media.

They drive you crazy with the negative plays, but they make up for it with the explosive plays. ISIAP that Jake is 265 yds from 3000. 2000 for Henry, 1000 for Ridley. One other team in history has done that. And Bama did it against the best defenses in the country.

We must be watching different teams. This is the best college front seven ever assembled. They are absolutely destroying very good offensive lines. Cook didn't have time to blink Thursday night.

The offensive numbers are great. Considering the competition its incredible. But here is something to consider.
Bama is the only team to shut out an opponent in the BCS era. LSU 21-0. They are attempting to shut out Clemson in 9 days. If they do that, back to back shut outs in the playoffs, that will never be duplicated. That will be unique. This Bama Defense is dialed in and they are very aware of that potential place in CFB history.

Glad the championship game is in Arizona. What Bama has in store for Clemson is a felony in most Southern States.

Negative. Bama will beat Clemson Bad. Not as bad as tonight. But 14 points minimum. Not a swipe at Clemson. My mom and Dabos mom have been close friends for 25 years. I like Dabo. Really good guy and he is Bama to the bone. But this Bama D is nasty. It will get ugly late.
