Thinking fed or Nadal are on Jordan's level is wild, sorry man. It's not even close
I'm not going to argue with you, but let me put it this way:
The biggest basketball star right now is LeBron James, right? He has 4 million followers on instagram.
Federer? 13.1 million. Nadal? 21.2 million.
NFL is MASSIVE in the US, yet Tom Brady has over 5 million less followers compared to Nadal (although he has more than Federer.
I don't think you realize how much the rest of the world cares about tennis, even if it's a small sport in the US.

Yep, in the world. I don't think you realize how big both of them are across the world. Maybe Jordan is on their level, Woods not a shot.
Tennis is probably the third biggest world-wide sport behind soccer and cricket. Golf isn't even close to tennis' popularity across the world, even though it's bigger in the US.

Famous athletes worldwide?
You have a very American-centric list.
The answer is Messi, Ronaldo, Federer, Nadal, and then probably whoever the best cricket player is, as that's a massive sport globally.

I don't think this is very important. There could be 100 storms, but if they're all turning into the open ocean, it doesn't matter. If there's one category five that makes landfall, that's all it takes for a catastrophe.

I get it for white-collar workers.
On my in-office days, if I didn't make a conscious effort to exercise (almost) every day and if I wasn't totally motivated even on days where I didn't feel like it (where I had a long day at the office), my day would consist of:
- Walking to work
- Sitting at my desk all day, only getting up to make lunch and go to the bathroom
- Walking home
And I have the luxury of getting to walk to work, versus just sitting in a car for a commute.

A 2 vs 1 seed comeback doesn't change the point at all. Instead of 4/4 Elite 8 blowouts there were only 3/4.
Great game, but we used to have unpredictable early round upsets by mid-majors with experience over young talent. This was fun to watch.
Now we have mostly predictable early round games and still have blowouts in the Elite 8. This is less fun to watch.
Today's last game was fun to watch. The other 3 this weekend, not so much
If you're just looking at final scores, sure. Anyone who actually watched Iowa-Illinois would say it was far from an actual blowout. It was extremely back-and-forth for 36/40 minutes.
Let's agree to disagree.

ewer upsets, higher seeds bolstered by transfers and NIL advancing with no trouble, absolute blowouts in the Elite 8 isn't a dramatically improved product.
There have been some great games, but there always has been. These last two tournaments have been very forgettable.
This aged terribly with the UConn ending. And we did get a 9 vs 3 seed in the elite eight too. Two 1 seeds in the final four feels very normal.
This tournament has the perfect mix of two elite teams (Arizona, Michigan), some chaos that got a 9 vs 3, but that game still felt high quality and was back-and-forth until the final four minutes, and then an epic all-timer.

Anyone who can win over Colby and Cirie despite negative first impressions and get Cirie to give up crucial info (that she has an extra vote) is a great player in my mind.
Colby and Cirie thought at first that Rizo was going to be an annoying young kid and he won them over quickly. That shows a great social game.

Wow, I guess I'm in the minority here but Rizo really won me over this episode.
He's fun, entertaining, and not only does he talk the talk, he walks the walk.
I don't mind players who say they're great if they back it up.

It's so ridiculous that Zac Brown has more confessionals than Tiffany on this season so far.

Am I the only one who can't stand they stay on this same lame arse island for many seasons now? Part of the charm of the show was different hardship, bounty and adaptation to unknown places. It's cookie cutter challenge obstacles now that barely change at all. And almost zero foraging and fishing anymore.
I think the biggest issues with the show are: not moving locations, not having it be 39 days anymore (or at least a full month where you really feel like the players are having to survive out there), not having themed seasons anymore (and this lame "hands of the fans" I'm not counting), and the lack of diversity in life experience amongst the contestants.
I think they've made a push for more diversity which I think is great. But, you don't have people from all walks of life combining on the same island for a social experiment anymore. It's just a lot of upper-middle class, white collar people.

They have to make it because of their record but this is one of the biggest fluke seasons in NCAAB history.
They lucked into so many wins this season, they should have 4-6 losses even with their extremely easy schedule.

That felt like a weak episode, a real come-down from the excitement of season 50 premiering.
We didn't really get to see the tribe dynamics of 2 of the 3 tribes play out before the early tribe swap because only one tribe went to tribal council. Q did a great job of building an alliance/trust on his original tribe and got swapped without even going to a tribal council to a different tribe that just so happened to have three D vs G people that might or might not have had a pregame alliance.
Too much Emily Flippen and Charlie/Rizo too. I think most of us are watching this season for Coach, Ozzie, Cirie, Colby, etc.. We're not here to watch Emily Flippen, who shouldn't have been on this season in the first place, fumble her way through the pre-merge.
Q going home also just brought down the entertainment value of the rest of the season big time.

Call me "lazy" or "wasting money" or whatever, but I always would rather just see an H&R Block advisor (or whatever company you want to use), have an expert do it, and make sure I'm doing it right.
For people's whose taxes don't solely consist of a simple W2, I think that this is the best way to do things. Yes, you have to pay more, but you're paying to avoid the stress of doing taxes, of not accidentally screwing yourself out of a bigger refund than you deserve, and of not having to worry about accidentally doing something wrong and dealing with the IRS because of it.
Just my opinion!

I'm so sorry to hear that...dogs are family members too.
When I lost my last dog, this quote provided a lot of comfort. Hopefully it does the same for you:
“There is a cycle of love and death that shapes the lives of those who choose to travel in the company of animals. It is a cycle unlike any other. To those who have never lived through its turnings and walked its rocky path, our willingness to give our hearts with full knowledge that they will be broken seems incomprehensible. Only we know how small a price we pay for what we receive; our grief, no matter how powerful it may be, is an insufficient measure of the joy we have been given.” - Suzanne Clothier

The first two hours were the best two hours of Survivor since the pre-Survivor 41. Really wish the episode ended after the Jenna boot since then it was just a sea of commercials, "New Era" gimmicks, and then a depressing med-evac.

It’s been great all 4 seasons. It’s becoming my favorite over Big Brother. In the beginning, I thought Rob was going to be a dud as a Traitor, but he’s been awesome. He deserves the $180K.
I'm really enjoying the show too. I like shows like this, Survivor, and Big Brother, they all are really fun and different enough from each other that they don't get old.
I have to say, I normally love reality tv recap podcasts, but the podcasts this week are rough. I normally listen to the gamers' podcasts, but you can tell this week that a lot of them upset Natalie went home and are essentially saying the episode wasn't good because of that bias.
Too much Monday morning quarterbacking this week. It's very easy to sit on the sidelines and say that they should have realized it was Rob and blah blah blah. The people left are tired, they're paranoid, and they've trusted Rob for a long time.
It's not so easy for them to change their minds about him, especially when Candiace's "big evidence" against him was when he dropped a fork.

For the most part, a great car. Haven't had too many issues, the Parreti dealership in Metairie is great if you're in New Orleans, drives smoothly, and gets good gas mileage.
The cons are it takes longer than you would think to accelerate and DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, get the built-in navigation. The stupid navigation continually malfunctions for me to the point where it's giving my car massive issues (with the robot voice coming on unprompted and all sorts of technological issues surrounding their navigation system).

I think this is how it's almost certainly going to go:
Mark banished
Then, Tara and Johnny banished in the next two eliminations. Rob will convince Maura (with no evidence otherwise because starting now they aren't revealing their identities).
So it will be Maura, Eric, and Rob at the end, in my opinion. I'm not sure how it goes from there, except I think Rob is for sure winning.
I could see a scenario where Maura thinks Eric is a traitor and it ends with Rob and Maura at the end and Maura wins it all.
I could see Rob having a similar mindset, at the very, that the traitor who won season 1 did, and kicking the late recruit to the curb with a late change of heart.
Or I could see Eric and Rob winning together. I'm not sure. But I think we're almost certainly going to see Mark banished and then Johnny/Tara out next as the "two remaining traitors" (in Maura's eyes).
