TE- I dont think we have a solid "traditional" TE that can effectively hold his own in the run game and be a threat as a pass catcher.

RB- I dont think we have a guy we can lean on to close out a game. Durham hasnt made it through a season without looking injured. Not sure if Berry can give you 18-21 carries a game.

Edge- Need a guy that can at least get you 7 sacks on the season. Reliford is still unproven. Ross has the talent. Umanmielen answers this if you can get him.

Wow lmao... Lane is about to make these folks change the rules

Ohio State hiring Hankton is a huge head scratcher to me.

Its really not... you and a lot of others on this board just have a negative bias towards Hankton and the rest of the offensive staff based on the 2025 season outcome. Head and assistant coaches get fired and rehired every offseason.

LSU has hired assistant coaches that have been fired from other places too.
Finally ...an offensive lineman with some real productivity at this level.
I thought he was suppose to be at LSU today?
Nope... roll with Reliford, Ross, Shanklin, Cobbins, and get Lamar Brown on the field
Dont put too much thought into that... a lot of those guys will announce after the portal closes.

Im sure some teams are telling guys to wait to announce in order to keep current roster guys from entering at the same position.

LINK

SI article says he was inserted as a starter on the backend of the season and struggled.

Dumb move by him. He’s not NFL ready

JJ McCarthy went 10th overall after handing the ball off 30 times a game for 2 years. I think Simpson will be just fine.

He'll likely fall to a more stable situation after Mendoza and Moore come of the board to NYJ and LV.
Wouldn't be surprised if he goes to Pittsburgh at #21.

Who cares if Ole Piss gets their QB back.

I dont think most care... im more happier Simpson left Bama unexpectedly.

Hunt had a terrible take.

Why are you so triggered by another man's opinion. Who gives a shite...

He said it’s best for the Tigers if Ole Piss doesn’t get their QB back.

I mean, its the truth... I think Baker would rather face Duece Knight making his 3rd start than Chambliss in Oxford.

And downvote away.

Most of us did...

Hopefully; would be nice to have a 3-4yr starter at tackle

Right... hard to be optimistic about a guy who has no experience at one of the most important positions on the field. Depth guy? Great... Plug and Play? lets wait and see

Wasn’t he a big time get ?

Yes. This board just gets enamored by newest portal addition (even if they dont have any production at previous school) and forget about the guys we already have... who has more upside.

Maybe they are selling him their ability to get Leavitt to play well enough for one season to enter the 2027 draft.

Every major program has pretty much filled their QB void. I doubt Tennessee brings him in after signing Faizon Brandon.

Unless he decides to drop to a lower tier P4 school, he's going to have to sit behind someone.

That man wants a paycheck

Seaton is likely a top 10 pick in 2027... the money will be there for him.

Maybe he wants to go to a contender and get out of Colorado
...at this point, I'll believe it when LSU makes an official announcement
The way yall pull rumors out your arse and run with them is mind-blowing.

QB1 Boom?

Hope it's Longstreet.

I think it will be Tre Wilson, Jayce, and Watkins

re: Longstreet = Chambliss

I want Longstreet for long-term continuity in the QB room. He would be a good bridge for Pop Houston.

Dart played fairly well (3K yards, 20 tds & 11 ints) his first year under Lane without the offensive weapons and defense Longstreet will have at LSU.

Sam Leavitt has two years left but he could easily be gone to the NFL after a solid season and we would be right back in the same situation this time next year.

His credibility has taken many hits but people still get all giddy when he posts like morons

This board likes to be told what they want to hear... doesn't matter if its the truth or not.

If he would've made a thread about some bad news he heard... the responses would be "You dont know shite" , "You dont have any sources", etc
