I'm giving him a chance, but I cringe every time he uses "all in". I mean, that's absolutely the most generic slogan/catchphrase a coach could possibly come up with.

Again. It was time for Cal to go. Pope isn’t the right hire

Translation:

That was a series of stupid decisions by our program.

I think we would all troll you less if somebody would just say it out loud. We just have to keep messing with you because you just won't admit running off Cal with no safety net was a bad decision.

If you're going to do that you need to have a top 10 coach ready to go. You don't do that assuming everyone is going to beat down your door because you're Kentucky.
I couldn't be a cop. Don't have the patience for that nonsense.

So you hired Pope?

How's that rightful decision going for you? Was it the right decision?

Even good coaches can have bad/unlucky stretches. I understand he wasn't living up to Kentucky's expectations, but if you're going to run off a coach like Cal, you better do it when you already have his replacement figured out.

The last time you ran a coach out of town you had only Pope volunteer for the job.

That's the thing Kentucky fans just do not get. No legit coach is going to be interested in a program that doesn't think Calipari is good enough for them. It's just unrealistic expectations that any coach that has options is going to steer clear of.

Crazy watching a slightly above average team walk into Rupp and beat a team that has more talent.

Anyone know his buyout situation off the top of their head? That will probably be the biggest factor on how long he has.

Remember the big arena press conference they threw when he was hired. :rotflmao:

They saw how we did that when we got Cal. I think that's when they knew they royally fricked up. It's showing now.

If Silverfield has repaired the broken relationship with Jerry its been a good hire.

It's good if that means we get some $. Not so good if he wants to meddle.

I guess the ligament damage on his shooting hand last season just basically ended him

We couldn't win with him before that. We started winning once he went down. I don't understand it, he's clearly very talented. It's like he just shouldn't be running point. Something about the way he does it throws off the offense, but I can't explain it.

Ewin has to start so does thomas

I actually like him off the bench. Start Pringle until both teams and refs settle in. Don't want Ewin picking up a cheap foul in the first 5 minutes if the game starts a little chaotic.

Pringle can handle himself for the first 5, plus you'll know if he's here to play today or needs to ride the pine. Send Ewin in fresh at the 15 minute mark. The game won't be won or lost during that time.
Sorry, did he start a war and I missed it? Seems like a tactical precision operation to me.
Yeah, I'm not that high on Archer. If he wants to come here on a scholarship and minimal NIL to prove himself I'm cool with that. If the coaches feel like they have better targets they should pursue those first. I'm not a master QB evaluator, but I can read between the lines when 2 staffs just don't seem interested in a guy that they should be able to get.
It is my yearly tradition watch this movie just before March Madness begins.
I wish I owned a shitload of Vandy stock right now. I'd be selling it for some massive profits before the bubble bursts.

Was there a better shoot em up movie ever made?

For realistic gunfire yes. If non-realistic I would throw the Matrix in the ring as well as others already mentioned.

That was quick, but doesn't do it justice. You have to see it in slo-mo to appreciate how crazy it was.
