re: Found out today I’ve got Prostate cancer. Advice on radiation or surgery?
Posted by 159FWCoonass on 7/7/21 at 8:31 pm to BowDownToLSU
I found out in April that I had Prostate Cancer. Gleason scores of 6-7 on right side. Elected to have surgery to remove and save radiation as a backup plan. The surgery is virtually pain free, once the catheter comes out. Even the removal of the catheter wasn’t as bad as I imagined! The incontinence isn’t terrible, just leak a little when standing up, laughing, or sneezing. I’m almost 1 month post surgery and feel great. I wish you nothing but the best, just do what’s best for you and your family.
